Working from a Coffee Shop: Boro Bean in Hopewell, NJ
The cute town of Hopewell has many independent shops and restaurants and the Boro Bean is their local coffee shop and cafe. Located on Main St, the homey feel of the coffee shop is probably due to the fact that the cafe was renovated from a family home!
The menu features coffee from local roastery Small World Coffee based in nearby Princeton. Items you can order include their coffee of the day as well as lattes, espresso, macchiatos, cappuccinos, chai, tea, and hot chocolate.
They’re also known for their baked goods, in particular their large and creative muffins. In hindsight, I wished I got a muffin.

Drink #1: Iced latte with Almond Milk and Amaretto
Because it was a beautiful day out, I took my coffee and my laptop outside to their cute alfresco patio. Luckily their free WiFi also works outside.
While I worked I enjoyed people watching as well as dog watching (my favorite activity). Dogs are allowed on the outdoor patio and there were a lot of cuties that day.
I stayed for a while and ended up getting lunch. Their menu included a lot of options like their black bean burrito, veggie wraps, plus sandwiches, salads, quesadillas, soup, and daily specials.
I opted for a tomato and mozzarella sandwich which was served with a vegan pesto on homemade bread. Delicious!
Tip: It does get busy on the weekends! If you’re looking to use an iPad and laptop on Saturday and Sunday you will need to wait until 1:30PM.
