Top Ten New Jersey Events for Labor Day Weekend 2018:

The 2nd Hopped Up Boonton Scavenger Hunt Pub Crawl
On August 31 beginning at 6:30PM , join the New Jersey Highlands Coalition in celebrating beer and clean water. You will have the opportunity to stop by some of Boonton’s most original and unforgettable pubs. Besides enjoying the discounts at the bars and quenching your thirst on a hot summer night, guests will have the opportunity to find clues in the scavenger hunt for a chance to win awesome prizes, and sign our ‘Clean Water Pledge’ banner during the Pub-Crawl event, showing you stand with us to protect clean Highlands water.

St. Bartholomew Italian Festival
The much anticipated Italian Festival of the Summer includes a feast that is truly a great family event with plenty for the whole family to enjoy. Music will be played nightly, along with various: rides, games, and great food. The mouth watering Italian cuisine includes crowd favorites like: pizza, pasta, zeppoles, clams, mussels, and calzones. In addition, there are nightly 50/50 drawings and a super 50/50 raffle on Monday, so make sure your family stops by to celebrate their inner Italian.

The Tomato Festival
The Tomato Festival celebrates the Jersey Fresh Tomato and the end of the summer season. This extremely unique event shares to benefit the WCM Shade Tree Commission in their endeavor to protect and improve the tree canopy of WCM. Come on out and share in the spirit of community, and embrace all the greatness of the Jersey Tomato.

Hard Cider Festival
Come and enjoy live music, talks on making hard cider, stroll through the orchards, see our antique tractors and for the kids take a hay wagon ride or try our scavenger hunt. BBQ sandwiches, hotdogs, Barnegat Oysters and other snacks will be available for purchase. This event is rain or shine. Ticket purchasers must be at least 21 years of age with ID required for entry.

Labor Day Weekend at Working Dog
Skip the crazy LDW beach crowds and join Working Dog Winery for a laid back day of live music and good food! Music by Pennington Station Band. Food provided by Jersey Devil Barbecue Food Truck.

Ducktown Bacon Fest
Can you think of anything better than Bacon, well how about a festival full of Bacon. The Ducktown Bacon Fest will feature amazing vendors with great bacon items, bacon inspired drinks, music, and lots of family fun. Make sure your family makes an appearance in this great event.

Famous Food Market
A family friendly and free Foodie Market set on the water in Jersey City! The Famous Food Market features over 30 food vendors serving dishes from all over the world, local craft vendors, a farm to table tent, a beautiful beer and wine garden and some of the BEST VIEWS OF THE NYC SKYLINE EVER.

BBQ & Craft Beer Fest @ Monmouth Park Racetrack
Dig in to the juiciest, most tender pulled pork, brisket and ribs the Jersey Shore has to offer and wash it down with an ice-cold beer at the annual BBQ & Craft Beer Festival! This Labor Day weekend join Monmouth Race Track for three days of delicious BBQ and a great selection of brews in their Craft Beer Garden. Kids will love the FREE pony rides, bounce house, face painting, clowns and more! The Craft Beer Garden will feature over 40 craft beers to choose from. 10 – 2 oz samples for ONLY $10

Scandinavian Fest
Come to ScanFest! It’s an all-day celebration of Scandinavia at its best – where you’ll discover the customs…the history…the ethnic variety of the six Nordic nations: Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden
Date: Sunday, September 2nd, 2018 at 10am

Mount Hollys Food Trucks and Fireworks
Food Trucks and Fireworks will be a delicious way to kick off or end your Labor Day Weekend! Come down and save your spot on the lawn with the family, enjoy food and drinks from the many different food trucks we will have available (over 30) and watch the spectacular Fireworks at dusk!
