Oktoberfest at Morey’s Piers
September 18 – October 11
The Oktoberfest event at Morey’s Piers in Wildwood, New Jersey, is an annual autumn festival taking place on weekends from late September through mid-October. It features traditional German culture integrated with classic seaside boardwalk entertainment.
Key elements of the event include:
– Entertainment & Festivities: Live music, roaming musicians, a ceremonial keg tapping, stein-holding competitions, and themed decorations across the pier.
– Activities & Attractions: Amusement rides, themed games, and an interactive scavenger hunt called “OktoQuest,” where participants complete challenges to earn points and prizes.
– Special Events: The “Boardwalk Bier Run,” a 2-mile run along the beach and boardwalk that includes refreshment stops and ends with a commemorative stein of beer and a pretzel.

Avalon Oktoberfest

The Oktoberfest at ICONA Beach Bar in Avalon, New Jersey, combines traditional Bavarian festivities with an oceanfront beach setting. The inaugural Morris County Harvest Table: Oktoberfest will take place on October 1 at 4:30 PM at County College of Morris’s new Center for Entrepreneurship and Culinary Science, offering guests a farm-to-table seasonal dining experience inside its facility and 5,000-square-foot courtyard. Featuring an Oktoberfest-inspired menu prepared by CCM culinary students using ingredients sourced from local farms, the event brings together farmers, students, educators, and community members to showcase Morris County’s agricultural community and agritourism. Participating farm owners will share their stories and highlight local products throughout the evening, which also serves as a fundraiser for the Morris County Tourism Bureau to support its mission of promoting the region’s historic, cultural, and culinary destinations.
