Hard Cider Festival
Come and enjoy live music, talks on making hard cider, stroll through the orchards, see our antique tractors and for the kids take a hay wagon ride or try our scavenger hunt. BBQ sandwiches, hotdogs, Barnegat Oysters and other snacks will be available for purchase. This event is rain or shine. Ticket purchasers must be at least 21 years of age with ID required for entry.

BBQ & Craft Beer Fest @ Monmouth Park Racetrack

This Labor Day weekend join Monmouth Race Track for three days of delicious BBQ and a great selection of brews in their Craft Beer Garden. Brewery to Brewery Run/ Walk
The run/ walk is 3.7 miles through the heart of the downtown Hackensack, NJ shopping area via Main Street and Hudson Street. You will pass by the county seat and its weathered dome. Witness the revitalization of the downtown shopping area and its multicultural offerings. You will run past the historic Sears building and Lido’s restaurant (home of the finest thin crust pizza ever). Refresh yourself & reflect on your efforts as you enjoy the freshest beer offerings from the brewers at Brix City Brewing Co. Please feel free to hang out and enjoy the day and don’t forget to ham it up for The Brix City Running Club’s in house photographer Ron. There will be a food truck manned by Big Papa Smoke’m along with a beer raffle and fun for all.

5th Annual Uncorked & Uncapped: Wine, Beer, and Food Fest
The Arc of Essex County will host the 5th Annual Uncorked and Uncapped: Wine, Beer, and Food Fest on September 27th at the Wilshire Grand Hotel in West Orange, NJ. All proceeds will benefit The Arc’s programs and services that support individuals with Down syndrome, Autism, and other intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and their families. Attendees will enjoy a wide selection of fine wines, craft beers, spirit tastings, restaurant samplings, an awards program, and a silent auction while supporting The Arc of Essex County. Tickets are $100 each and can be purchased through the event website, www.uncorkedanduncapped.com. The Arc of Essex County is the largest service provider to individuals living with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families in Essex County, New Jersey. RU Brewfest
Rutgers will host RU Brewfest in the Block R Party prior to the Indiana matchup as fans can purchase access to a beer festival as well as a ticket to the game for $50. Capacity for the beer festival is limited and fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets early. A limited quantity will be reserved for season ticket holders to purchase. RU Brewfest will feature Oktoberfest and numerous seasonal craft beers, in addition to Bavarian snacks. The event will also feature live music outside the Block R Party, a great location to view the Scarlet Walk.
