The New Jersey Sunflower Trail
All August Long, 10 am – 5 pm
The New Jersey Sunflower Trail is now open for visitors. On select weekends, expect food trucks, a beer and wine garden, live music, axe throwing, and crafters. Enjoy hayrides, an Activity Area, and additional food options, including beer from Buttzville Brewing Company. Weekday activities include exploring the sunflower trail, taking photos at over 20 spots, picking fresh raspberries and peaches, and visiting farm animals.

Cirque de Paris at MarketFair

Experience the magic of Cirque de Paris as the internationally acclaimed one-ring circus returns to MarketFair from August 20 through September 7. Cape May Lighthouse Full Moon Climb
August 28, 8 pm- 10 pm
Follow the light of the full moon on these rare nighttime climbs up the 199 cast-iron spiral staircase steps to the top of the Cape May Lighthouse. Enjoy a nighttime view nearly 156 feet above the Delaware Bay and Atlantic Ocean. Final climb is 15 minutes before closing time. Interpretive panels along the climb tell stories of Lighthouse Keepers, the surrounding area, and how the lighthouse functioned historically. Since it opened to the public in 1988, more than 2.5 million visitors have climbed to the top, but far fewer have climbed at nighttime..

OPA Greek Fest

St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church is proud to host the Inaugural OPA Greek Fest Friday, August 22-24, 2025! New Jersey Folk Festival

The New Jersey Folk Festival (NJFF) is one of the nation’s longest continuously running folk festivals and the largest in New Jersey. This annual celebration of folk music, arts, and traditions brings together performers, artists, communities, organizations, and vendors to highlight the historical, modern, and diverse folklife and folk arts from around the state and beyond.

South Jersey Seafood & Music Festival

The South Jersey Seafood & Music Festival returns at the scenic Washington Lake Park. This seafood-filled “FISHtival” promises a day of delicious eats, live music, and family fun. Attendees can indulge in lobster rolls, crab cakes, shrimp, and more from top food vendors including Cousins Maine Lobster, Angry Archies, Sherri’s Crab Cakes, Crawdaddy’s Cajun, and Tacoholics, along with dessert favorites like Cold Stone and House of Cupcakes. The event also features a beer, margarita, and sangria garden, vendors, and a variety of kids’ activities including inflatables, miniature golf, a bungee trampoline, rock wall, and a thrilling 35-foot high, 250-foot long zip line running through the festival. Live music will be performed throughout the day by Poor Mouth Henry, Undisputed, and the Jenny Barnes Band, making this a can’t-miss celebration of summer.

The Lunar Faire Night Market: Movies & Musicals is an all-ages evening gathering held at the Atlantic County 4-H Fairgrounds. Lambertville Sunflower Festival

Join the vibrant Lambertville Sunflower Festival at Bellemont Farm a joyful late-summer celebration set among acres of blooming sunflowers, featuring food trucks, a beer garden, live music, craft activities, a dedicated children’s play area, and the opportunity to cut your own flower stems and book professional portraits. On weekends (and Labor Day), it runs from 10 a.m.–6 p.m., and during weekdays the fields are open for self-guided visits from 11 a.m.–6 p.m. without the vendors. Tickets vary by day and age, with advance weekend pricing for adults and children, and lower weekday admission when only the sunflower fields and lawn activities are available.
