As a trailblazer for New Jersey’s witchy and alternative scene, Lunar Faire is so much more than a typical market—it’s an open, creative community and a total escape from the ordinary.
It’s also a great way to shop local and spend intentionally. The vendor lineup highlights women-owned and LGBTQ+-owned small businesses, so every crystal, potion, craft, or piece of oddity art you buy goes directly to independent creators. New Jersey Isn’t Boring has had a booth at several Lunar Faires, and it’s always been a great time with a great vibe.
With a new theme at every stop, no two Lunar Faires are the same. Expect a full lineup of entertainment, from fire dancers and drag queens to tarot readers, live music, and plenty of weird, wonderful surprises.
Plus, all events are family-friendly and alcohol free (with plenty of awesome mocktails).
All events are $15 in advance / $25 day-of, with the exception of Halloweekend, which is $25 in advance/$35 day-of and available for pre-purchase on Eventbrite. Kids 10 and under are free.

This event features immersive witchy attractions, including group spellwork with the Lunar Queene, a potions lab, fire wire walking, and bubble magic by Meadow Perry. Attendees can also shop from offbeat craft vendors, sample local food, and experience Halloween-themed entertainment such as a levitating witch performance and “The MF Pumpkin of CHAOS.”
