Working from a Coffee Shop: Lakes Coffee in Medford Lakes
Located in the most adorable development of tiny log cabins called the Trading Post sits Lakes Coffee, a hip little coffee shop established in 2017.
What you’ll find at Lakes Coffee are coffee beverages, espresso, cold brew, organic tea, cappuccinos, lattes, Americanos, frozen cappuccinos, smoothies, and cafe items like muffins, cookies etc. There is something for everyone.
From the “working from a coffee shop” angle, Lakes Coffee is a great place to get some work done (when it’s not too crowded). Although seating is limited there is free WiFi and outlets for computers.
Beverage #1: Cinnamon Latte
My oh my was this delicious! It tasted like a cinnamon bun in a cozy cup. I loved their pottery style mugs too. Super cute.
Other specialty lattes that were featured that day included Toffee Coffee, Peanut Butter Chocolate, Cookies and Cream and more.
Beverage #2: Decaf Coffee
I know my limitations when it comes to caffeine so my second drink tends to be decaf. This decaf coffee was very mellow and smooth, I enjoyed it a lot. I had my coffee with milk and a little bit of cinnamon. The theme of the day was cinnamon.
They also partner with local businesses to provide fresh offerings to their shop including local bagels, pastries, cookies and more.
If you’re looking for a unpretentious small coffee shop where you can catch up with friends and/or get some work done this is the place for you.
