Top Ten New Jersey Events for November 5 – 7, 2021

It’s officially November! This week the leaves are changing colors, the weather is getting cooler, and hot beverages are acceptable. Be sure to dine at the Jersey Shore Restaurant Week, celebrate the Day of the Dead in Princeton, and enjoy craft beer at Beer on the Boards in Point Pleasant.  Here are my picks for the top ten NJ Events for the Weekend.

Haunted Medford Main St Ghost Walk
November 5, 6PM – 9PM

A walking ghost tour of Historic Medford Village guided by experienced psychic mediums from The Center, Life in Balance. These mediums will guide participants through three different haunted locations using paranormal detection instruments. No tricks, or theater just Medford’s authentic history waiting to be seen & heard! This year is a little different than last- ticket holders meet a new medium in each location! This allows a more immersive experience for guests and it also allows the mediums to be in one place and get to know the spirits in their location better!

Jersey Shore Restaurant Week
November 5 – 14

Now in its 12th year! Jersey Shore Restaurant Week™ is a wonderful opportunity to re-visit your favorite restaurants & try new ones …the perfect time to gather friends & enjoy the Jersey Shore’s great restaurants.

GSJ Fall Fest 2021, Wine in the Pines
November 6, 10AM

Registration is limited to 700 Jeeps for the show.  Each registration includes a free event t-shirt and will receive 1 complimentary wine tasting ticket & glass from GSJ.  Anyone who arrives after 12PM will be required to park in the spectator lot and pay for spectator parking. There will be Jeep vendors, craft vendors, a selection of wineries on hand for tasting and purchasing, beer for purchase, a variety of food trucks, live entertainment, as well as a FAMILY FUN AREA.  All proceeds will benefit Operation Yellow Ribbon of South Jersey!  They will also be on-site collecting donations for care packages to send to our troops overseas!

Clinton Twp Food Truck & Music Fest
November 6, 11AM – 6PM

Food! Beer! Music! Fun! New Jersey foodies, eat your hearts out! It’s a fun-filled family day! Over 15 Gourmet Food Trucks, partnered with some great music, make for an enchanting and fulfilling Fall day. Bring your appetite, lawn chairs, pups, pop-ups, and blankets. Dine on excellent food, while enjoying the beer and sangria garden. Face painting, kids’ activities, and more!

Madison Food Truck Festival
November 6, 11AM – 5PM

The Food Trucks are rolling into Madison on November 6th at the Madison Police Station at 62 Kings Road from 11a-5p. Enjoy food from 15+ gourmet food trucks, great live music from Naughty Humphry and Grand Theft Audio, hatchet tossing, boardwalk style games, great beer, and wine! Everything you need to celebrate the start of the ‘holiday season”. The event will benefit the Madison PBA

Arts Council of Princeton and Princeton Shopping Centers’ Annual Day of the Dead Celebration
November 6, 3PM – 5PM

The Arts Council of Princeton and the Princeton Shopping Center present Princeton’s annual Day of the Dead celebration! Celebrate Mexico’s El Día de los Muertos with strolling mariachis, sugar skull decorating, face painting, and folk arts and crafts. Learn about the traditions of this rich cultural holiday at this free, family-friendly afternoon event. Day of the Dead is observed throughout the world at this time of year (in connection with Halloween and All Souls’ Day), where family and friends gather to remember and honor those who have died. Traditions connected with the holiday include building private altars using sugar skulls, marigolds, and favorite foods of the deceased, and then visiting graves with these as gifts.

Hub City Food Truck Festival

The Department of Human and Community Services would like to invite you to New Brunswick’s first annual Hub City Food Truck Festival. The day will include festivities from a live mural painting to outdoor games and interactive inflatables! All activities are suitable for children and adults.
