Dalton Farms

Stroll through breathtaking fields of vibrant tulips and daffodils and pick your own open daily from 10 am – 7 pm. On weekends, enjoy live music, delicious food vendors, and a refreshing beer garden. With a rich history dating back to 1790, the Dalton family proudly continues this tradition under the ownership of Keith, Ann, and Connor. Spanning 99 acres, Dalton Farms is a family-owned and operated farm conveniently located in southern New Jersey, just off Route 322.

Arrowhead Farmstead’s Dinosaur and Tulip Festival
Now– May 3

Arrowhead Farmstead will be open from April 5th to April 27th for its Dinosaur and Tulip Festival. Admission for tulip-only days is $22 per person, while admission for Tulip and Dinosaur Festival days is $28 per person. The farm will operate from 9 AM to 5 PM, with the last entrance at 4 PM. Tickets will be available for purchase online only. Admission includes access to the tulip fields and various photo opportunities throughout the farm, a scenic tractor ride, a meet-and-greet with dinosaurs, live dinosaur stage shows, and the chance to observe over 30 animatronic dinosaurs across the property.

Holland Ridge Farms

Possibly the most popular place for picking tulips in NJ, Holland Ridge Farms is the biggest U-Pick flower spot in the USA. They are a family-owned flower grower and flower farm located in Monmouth County. With over 100 different varieties in a rainbow of colors, there’s a tulip for everyone. Come pick from over 8 million for just $1 per stem – 50c on weekdays! It’s also a very popular spot for taking photos. If you can’t make it in person, they can ship flowers directly to you.

Ort Farms

If you’re looking for a classic spring-in-Jersey experience, pick-your-own tulips at Ort Farms are about as wholesome (and photogenic) as it gets. In early spring, the farm transforms into rows of vibrant tulip fields bursting with color. Visitors can wander through the blooms, take photos, and hand-pick their own bouquet straight from the field. After picking your tulips, you can grab fresh ice cream, baked pies, or BBQ, and soak in the laid-back, family-friendly vibe. Admission includes 2 stems and $2 per stem for each additional.

The Elephant Talk Indie Music Festival brings three days of grassroots indie energy to the Tennessee Avenue Beer Hall. Hoboken’s Earth Date Gate Sale
April 18, 10 am – 2 pm

Join the City of Hoboken and the Hoboken Green Team for a citywide gate sale in celebration of Earth Day! The community event allows residents to sell secondhand items right from their gates or stoops, promoting reuse, reducing landfill waste, and supporting sustainability. An interactive map of participating homes will guide shoppers throughout Hoboken. Residents who don’t have access to a stoop or gate are also welcome to participate! Residents will be permitted to set up a table in Church Square Park to sell their gently used items.

Family Fun Day at The Brilliant Sheppard Alpaca Farm

Join the farm for a Spring Family Fun Day filled with activities for all ages. Guests can enjoy local vendors, food trucks, a kids play zone, family picnic areas, face painting, lawn games, and animal activities throughout the day. Visitors will have the chance to take an alpaca for a walk—just like walking a dog—or snap a fun photo in the kissing booth with an alpaca smooch. Fur Baby Food & Music Fest

Fur Baby Fest returns for its fourth year as one of the region’s biggest pet-friendly food, music, and adoption festivals. Held at Freedom Park in Medford, the event features more than 13 food vendors, live music, shopping with vendors for both people and pets, and plenty of family-friendly activities including face painting, games, and a dog agility course. Pets can join in the fun with a pet costume contest, while guests relax with food, drinks, and entertainment. Portions of the proceeds and alcohol sales will benefit Friends of the Burlington County Animal Shelter, helping support animals in need of loving homes.

Bullypalooza

Get ready for a tail-wagging good time at “Bullypalooza,” a festive fundraiser supporting a Belmar-based bulldog rescue group! Join the fun on Sunday, April 19 (weather permitting) at Bar Anticipation for an afternoon dedicated to helping rescued English and French bulldogs in need. This high-energy event raises funds to cover medical expenses for the rescue’s dogs while bringing the community together for a great cause. Guests can enjoy a lively atmosphere filled with fellow dog lovers—and don’t miss one of the highlights of the day: a hilarious and adorable dog bathing suit contest!
