Working from a Coffee Shop: Jeny’s Java Joint in Palmyra
Located in the small town of Palmyra sits Jeny’s Java Joint, a great place for coffee and a bite to eat. It’s important to note that this is an organic coffee house that emphasis on fair trade.
The adorable spot hosts regular patrons who are looking to get something to eat, drink bottomless coffee, and talk about what’s going on their community. (I was in the minority) Luckily for me Jeny’s has free WiFi and I was able to snag a table to get some much needed work done.
Beverage #1: Regular Coffee
I ordered their house blend coffee because you can’t go wrong with a classic cup of coffee. The coffee is organic and fair trade.
Other coffee beverages they have cafe au laits, espresso, affogato, cappachinos, flat whites, lattes, and more. Most drinks are served hot or cold. Coffee is also available for sale.
Also for sale is local art. Jeny’s Java Joint is decked out with art work that is available for purchase.
Beverage #2: Green Tea Latte
Other tea beverages include regular tea, iced tea, and chai tea.
In addition to drinks there is plenty of food for you to nosh on including breakfast pastries, egg sandwiches, homemade quiche, sandwiches, soup, cookies and baked goods.
If you’re visiting Palmyra this is definitely a destination! It’s a cute spot that’s perfect for a place of coffee and some conversation.
