Working from a Coffee Shop: The Treehouse Coffee Shop & Cafe in Audubon
Located on Merchant St in cute town of Audobon sits the mom and pop coffee shop known as the Treehouse Coffee Shop and Cafe. It’s a comfy, friendly shop where people can get work, friends can gather, and new friends can be made.
The Treehouse Coffee Shop and Cafe offers coffee beverages, seasonal drinks and bites, baked goods,and a menu for breakfast and lunch. You can find items like homemade scones, bagels, smoothies, sandwiches, salads, milkshakes, sundaes and more. I couldn’t resist a Chocolate Chip scone.
Beverage #1: The Trudy
The Trudy, listed as one of the coffee shop’s “gang creations”, is a cozy cup of vanilla almond. It’s delicious!
Other fun coffee concoctions include The Nutty Irishman (hazelnut and cream), The Snowflake (peppermint and white chocolate), and Treehouse Latte made with real maple syrup.
Beverage #2: Matcha Lemonade
As a fan of both matcha and lemonade this was a winning combo!
The coffee shop prides themselves in keeping themselves locally rooted in their community. Their Coffees are Organic & Fair Trade Our from Crescent Moon in Mullica Hill and Revolution Coffee in Collingswood, NJ. Additionally their seasonal Apple Cider is made from Jersey Apples grown on Schober Orchards in Monroeville, NJ, their organic veggies come from Yards Farm CSA, and some of their produce and fresh organic free range eggs in season from Dan Lynn Organic Farms and Formissano Family Farm.
The Treehouse also provides open mic on Wednesday nights, children’s singalongs Tuesday mornings, live music on Friday nights, plus seasonal events poetry readings and community discussions.
