My November in New Jersey!

I started out the month with a 5K! Sure, I walked and sure, I have a bad knee so I ended up in last place…but the point is we raised money for the animals of Sammy’s Hope and it was a lot of fun!

I spend a night in Atlantic County, first at the Golden Coast Diner for a delicious multi course dinner…

followed by seeing Conan O’Brien and other talented comedians at the Music Box in the Borgata Hotel and Casino. It was a fun way to spend the evening. My cheeks hurt from laughing!

Speaking of diners, I also got a chance to visit the Seaport Diner, Don’s Diner, and more! It was a big month of diners!

I got to know my hometown of Old Bridge by visiting their 53rd Annual Apple Festival! It was cute! Lots of apple creations!

I took a trip to Hackensack, NJ for a preview of Barnes and Noble’s new store re-do. As an avid reader is was fun seeing this new display.

A lovely baby shower at the historic Colts Neck Inn. A restaurant that’s been around since the 1700s!

I also got to see a New Jersey LEGEND, George R.R. Martin (did you know he’s from NJ) at the Historic Loews Theater in Jersey City. Not only did I get to see a live Q & A but I got a copy of his brand new book. Pretty epic night.

A beautiful day in Rahway for their annual Winter Wonderland! I loved being a vendor at this annual event.

An evening with the NJSO? Star Wars? Yes, it was a lovely evening at the Count Basie Theater in Red Bank seeing A New Hope on the big screen with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra playing live. It was so much fun!
