Lets Drink Local this Weekend, New Jersey: Sept 14th – 17th, 2017!
In an effort to boost our NJ economy and support local businesses, our friends at New Jersey Craft Beer have proposed “A Weekend to Sip on New Jersey Based Adult Beverages” for September 14th – 17th, 2017.
OF COURSE this is not an effort to get drunk. Please drink responsibly and enjoy!
Here is Their Proposal:
ALL OVER NEW JERSEY! We are inviting EVERYONE to sip on New Jersey based adult beverages and support the local economy by doing so. Starting Thursday, September 14 until Sunday, September 17 2017, it’s your turn to show off your love for New Jersey’s breweries, brewpubs, wineries, cideries, distilleries and meaderies where ever you go for drinks. We are also encouraging you to drink locally produced coffee, kombucha, juices and soft drinks to help this cause! There are so many companies here in New Jersey making beverages, let’s get out and do it!
– Drink NJ for breakfast, lunch and dinner and help spread the word about our great producers!
– Get on out to bars and restaurants, liquor stores, brewpubs and breweries and tag #drinkNJresponsibly to get in on the action.
– Post pictures on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and email your friends and family! Let’s make this weekend shine for our local small businesses.

Eighth and Sand Beer Co One Year Anniversary – September 16th
The brewery will be tapping limited small batches of beer throughout the day, along with the return of a fan favorite or two. Also, you don’t want to miss gift card and merch giveaways every hour, leading up to a raffle for a NEW stainless steel growler and very special top-secret contest at 6 PM. The first 20 people get a free rastal glass, so get there early and stay late.
