Rahway Taste of Spring
April 5, 5:30 pm – 9 pm

Mayor Raymond A. Giacobbe, the Rahway City Council, and the City of Rahway’s Special Improvement District invite you to get your taste buds ready for their premier Restaurant Tasting Event, happening in Downtown Rahway—the Rahway Taste of Spring! Now in its 21st year, this event has been widely recognized as the largest tasting event of its kind in the NJ/NY Metro Area, typically with upwards of 40 eateries and bakeries, plus an additional 40 stations of national distributors of fine wine, boutique beers and aperitifs. With live music, good food, wines and beers from all over the world, Rahway’s Taste of Spring is the place to be this April. Tickets for the Friday, April 5th event are $40 per person and will sell out fast! Tickets can be purchased online through Eventbrite or through the Eventbrite QR code at Witty’s only!

Boonton’s First Friday: Earth Day/Town Clean Up
April 5, 5 pm – 9 pm

Boonton’s First Friday Earth Day event promises an evening of eco-friendly fun and education for all ages. Taking place on April 5th from 5-9pm, this event celebrates sustainability and environmental awareness. Visitors can enjoy live music, local art, and delicious food from sustainable vendors. Little City Books is hosting its annual Hoboken Literary Weekend from April 5 -7. Best-selling authors from sci-fi, memoir, fiction, history, YA, science, and poetry will be in the bookstore with readings, Q&As, interviews, and book signings. Annual Spring Model Train Show

The Garden State Model Railway Club will open its doors once again for our Annual Spring Model Train Show! We will be running steam and diesel trains of all kinds on our 1200 square foot HO scale layout, including Thomas the Tank Engine and his friends. We will also have our second railroad room open which features our new railroad currently under construction, a children’s railroad where kids can try their hand at running trains, and for sale items to complete your collection at home.
