Baseball! It’s America’s pastime, and yet NJ does not have a National MLB Team. However! We do have amazing minor league and professional baseball teams with affordable tickets, awesome food, and theme nights (dogs night out, fireworks, etc). Be sure to root root root for your home team.

Jersey Shore BlueClaws
The Jersey Shore BlueClaws are a minor league baseball team based in Lakewood, New Jersey. They were founded in 2001 and are members of the High-A East League, an affiliated minor league baseball league. The team plays their home games at FirstEnergy Park, which is located in Lakewood. The BlueClaws are affiliated with the Philadelphia Phillies and serve as a developmental team for the organization’s minor-league prospects. They are named for their location on the Jersey Shore and blue crabs native to the area.

Sussex County Miners
The Sussex County Miners are a member of the Frontier League and play a 96-game season from May through September. Fans can enjoy exciting baseball, promotional nights, and great daily specials, including their spectacular fireworks shows.

NJ Jackals
The New Jersey Jackals are a minor league baseball team that recently moved to Paterson, NJ. They were founded in 1998 and are members of the Frontier League, an independent baseball league. The Jackals have a strong following and have won multiple championships throughout their history. They provide an affordable and family-friendly entertainment option for baseball fans in northern New Jersey.

Trenton Thunder
The Trenton Thunder is a baseball team that participates in the MLB Draft League during the collegiate summer season. The team is based in Trenton, New Jersey and plays their home games at the Trenton Thunder Ballpark. Be sure to visit their park to meet their various mascots, batdogs, and purchase pork roll-inspired meals and crab fries.
