Make-A-Wish New Jersey Hosting Walk & Roll For Wishes on April 13 at American Dream

Make-A-Wish® New Jersey is thrilled to announce the 2024 Walk & Roll For Wishes, set to take place on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at American Dream in East Rutherford, New Jersey. This family-friendly event will be powered by wish families, volunteers, companies, schools, donors, and friends, promising a day filled with fun, entertainment, and inspiring stories.

Guests at the event will enjoy a fun and interactive path inside the unique destination, along with food, entertainment, and an inspiring program featuring stories of wishes come true. Leading the walk and sharing her inspiring story is Make-A-Wish alum Sorianny of West New York, who is battling a rare genetic disorder. Sorianny’s wish to be a woman in uniform to serve and protect was granted this past November, when she followed in her mother’s footsteps to become an officer. Her unforgettable day included being sworn in by the Mayor, arresting a criminal, and even getting a tour of a NJ State Police helicopter that flew over WNY in her honor.

Also joining the walk is alum Johnny of Marlton, who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. As an avid sports and football fan, his one wish was to go to the Super Bowl. Johnny’s wish was granted this past February when he found out that he and his family would be going to Las Vegas Super Bowl LVIII!
