Working From A Coffee Shop: Enigma Cafe in Toms River

Located on Main St in downtown Toms River, the Enigma Cafe is a cute spot I stumbled upon while I was visiting the area. The mission of this cafe is to “bring people in the community together in a place with great vibes, great food, great drinks, great service, and great people”.

The vibe at the Enigma Cafe is super chill and casual. One of the things I was drawn to was their local art on the walls (which are for sale)…

and their tiki lounge area. It was definitely different and the perfect spot to hold their open mic nights.

Beverage #1: Iced Chai Latte

Enigma Cafe offers lots of great caffeinated and decaf beverage options including cappuccinos, lattes, macchiattos, espresso, cold brew, and pour over coffee. I’m a big fan of chai lattes so I decided to get it iced with almond milk. They also make dirty chais.

Beverage #2: Chamomile Blend Tea

They offer Stash tea as well as special blends they create themselves. My Chamomile Blend was lemongrass, chamomile, lavendar, and rose blended tea. It was delicious.

Food wise they have a great menu filled with salads, sandwiches, and breakfast and lunch bowls. There is something for everyone! They are very conscious about having gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian options for their customers.

Items that stood out to me included their Oat-Ella Bowl (cinnamon oatmeal, bananas, peanut butter, coconut, and nutella) and their mango shrimp bowl.

They also offer organic protein, vegan, gluten free protein bites. Talk about covering all your allergies!

Thanks to their free wi-fi and plenty of seating, Enigma Cafe was a great place to get some work done! I highly recommend it as a place to visit and grab a coffee or a bite to eat as well!
