Working from a Coffee Shop: Ant Bookstore and Cafe in Clifton
My future dream is to open up a book store and coffee shop, and at Ant Bookstore and Cafe that dream is a reality.
The cafe is located in downtown Clifton and has free WiFi with plenty of space to work. They also host events like an open buffet brunch, book signings, poetry nights, music nights, and story time. They are rooted to their community by having a selection of books and events that in a variety of language for those to enjoy.
Among their menu is always freshly-brewed coffee and tea. They are most known for their Turkish style coffee and tea. So I ordered both!
Beverage #1: Turkish Coffee
What a fun plate! Turkish coffee, chocolate, and I had to order the baklava. They made walnut and pistachio and I chose the latter.
Beverage #2: Turkish Tea
Freshly made with lemons. Very tasty.
Meals you can order at the Ant Bookstore and Cafe include stuff baked potatoes, sandwiches, soup, salad and a Turkish breakfast plate.
Their dessert section presents a variety of freshly-baked pastries with a selection of Turkish, South American and local desserts. It’s a great place to try Kadayif, Trilece, and their famous baklava.
A cute, quiet place to work! Great coffee and tea with a great environment.
