DISCO DIVAS DRAG SHOW MAY 21ST IN ASBURY PARK TO BENEFIT HOMELESS ANIMALS

Celebrate Sunday Fun Day May 21st at Georgie’s in Asbury Park, NJ with Disco Divas drag show hosted by Morgan Le Faye 4 to 7 pm to benefit the Associated Humane Societies and Popcorn Park Zoo.  A suggested donation of $5 at the door includes the outrageously entertaining Disco Divas drag show hosted by Morgan Le Faye, tunes by DJ Mick Hale, silent auction and 50/50 raffle.

Fronted by nationwide entertainer Morgan Le Faye, the ladies of Disco Divas present the music stylings of your favorite female stars of 70s and 80s disco.  DJ Mick Hale has been spinning at clubs since the heyday of the 90’s New Brunswick music scene.  Mick was named “NJ’s Best DJ” by Odyssey Magazine NYC, voted the  2015 “Best Male DJ-NJ” in the Beacon Lite “People’s Choice Awards” and  recently a TOP 10 DJ in G.I.R.L. Radio’s “The Next Circuit DJ” competition.

New Jersey’s largest animal sheltering organization, The Associated Humane Societies is a not-for- profit 501C3 organization founded in 1906 comprised of three animal shelters in Newark, Tinton Falls and Forked River, including Popcorn Park. A federally-licensed zoo established in 1977, Popcorn Park is a sanctuary for abandoned, injured, ill, exploited, abused or elderly wildlife, exotic and farm animals, and birds.

Georgie’s, billing itself as the gay “Cheers” in Asbury Park, is located at 812 5th Avenue and Memorial Drive @ The Tracks.   Georgie’s serves patrons from all communities and hosts events throughout the year to support various causes such as human an d animal homelessness, hunger, autism and LGBTQ rights.

In the silent auction there will be 2 tickets to a home New York Giants game, massages from Massage Envy, $50 Wegman’s gift card, a gift certificate to Uncorked Wine Inspired Paint & Sip studio, and many more great gifts.
