Battleship NJ Beer Fest is Back on June 24th!
The Battleship NJ Beer Fest, a one day beer tasting festival designed to promote the appreciation of New Jersey craft beer, will take place in Camden, NJ at the Battleship New Jersey on June 24th from 1:00pm to 4:30pm. This year’s event will feature a record number of breweries highlighting the growth of the NJ craft beer industry.
All proceeds from the event benefit the Battleship New Jersey and the Garden State Craft Brewers Guild, which are non-profit organizations. Tickets for the event include a free tour of the battleship, the most decorated ship in US Navy History.
General Admission tickets to the festival include 15 coupons which can be used for 4 ounce samples of beer from local craft brewers. A limited number of VIP tickets are available and include admission a full hour early, additional beer tickets and exclusive “one-off” beers. The Battleship Beer Fest is the only festival in NJ with the craft beers of over 44 local NJ breweries in one location, many of whom are national award winners, and all of whom are working to raise the bar of beer culture throughout the region. Breweries in attendance, Guild members from as far away as Bergen and Warren Counties.
“We are excited to host the biggest battleship beer festival to date, this an awesome event that benefits two great non-profit organizations.” said Brewers Guild Executive Director Jason Carty. “The NJ brewing industry continues to grow and this festival will feature breweries from all over the state. New Jersey is making great beer and our breweries have won countless awards.”
A band will be playing to entertain guests as they drink great Jersey beer and enjoy the view from the deck of the battleship. Food and snacks will be available for purchase at the event in addition to several unique vendors.
You must be at least 21 years old to attend this event and participants are encouraged to utilize public transportation, ride sharing companies and designated drivers. Please drink responsibly.
