From funky downtown areas the sunny beaches along the Atlantic, these places are doing things a bit differently. They’ve got their own stories and unique brews to try. Bakes Brewery, Wall
Bakes Brewing Co officially opened its doors on December 30, 2023. An endeavor that had been in the making for over ten years, Bakes Brewing Company operates with a simple mindset: to brew the best beer possible – period. Founder Jeff Baker, also known as “Bakes,” boasts not only home brewing accolades but has also earned a diploma in Brewing Science & Engineering from the American Brewers Guild. Bakes is a Certified Cicerone® and a Certified Beer Judge. Residing in Wall Township with his wife, Jessica, and son, Tyler, Bakes takes great pride in his hometown and strives to bring a fantastic craft beer experience to the community. Situated one mile from the beach, the brewery offers a selection of beers on tap, including hoppy beers, stouts, and lagers.

Bonesaw Pilot House, Deptford
Embark on a delightful journey at the newly opened Bonesaw Pilot House in Deptford Mall! This serves as the second location for the immensely popular craft brewery from Glassboro, NJ. Spanning 8,000 square feet on the south side near Round 1, the Bonesaw Pilot House offers a diverse selection of one-off or “pilot” batches, along with flagship offerings, seltzers, craft sodas, and frozen drinks. It’s a food-friendly destination, allowing patrons to bring their own food, grab a bite from the food court, or order delivery. This location also features packaged goods and merchandise. With indoor and outdoor seating, as well as private event space, the Bonesaw Pilot House is the perfect spot for a unique craft beer experience

Brewery Thirty-Three, Riverton
Brewery Thirty-Three derives its name from the significant presence of the number 33 in the life of brew master Tommy Cimino, Jr. During his formative years, he adorned the number 33 on his soccer and hockey jerseys. Interestingly, this number continued to play a pivotal role as it became the badge number assigned to him during his tenure in the fire department. The brewery, founded by Tommy Cimino, Jr and Lisa Cinimo officially opened its doors in November 2023.

The Druery, Lawrenceville
The Druery, a family-owned pilot nano brewery, officially opened their doors in December 2023. With a diverse selection of beers on tap, including American Ales, Lagers, Stouts, Belgian styles, IPAs, and hard seltzers, the establishment provides patrons with a rich and varied array of craft beverages.

Tall Oaks Farm + Brewery, Farmingdale
Situated on five acres of land in Farmingdale, Tall Oaks Farm and Brewery stands as a nanofarm and microbrewery. This venture is a sister project of the Bradley Brew Project and officially opened its doors in December 2023. In addition to brewing, Tall Oaks Farm and Brewery distinguishes itself by cultivating a hops field and growing various other ingredients, adding a distinctive touch to their craft.

Varitage Brew Works, Bloomfield
Varitage Brew Works, Bloomfield’s inaugural microbrewery, has a mission to embody the American Dream, as reflected in its name, derived from “variety” and “heritage.” Located a stone’s throw away from the Bloomfield Train station, the brewery opened with a selection of classic ales and lagers, along with distinctive flavors for IPAs, sours, and pastry stouts. Beyond these offerings, Varitage has future plans to produce and serve hard seltzer, non-alcoholic craft sodas, and gluten-reduced beer, showcasing a commitment to diversity in their beverage offerings.
