NJIB’s Top New Jersey Events for July 4th Weekend 2022

Hello Summer! It’s the first weekend of July and the weather is hot hot hot. It’s also July 4th weekend so it’s a big weekend for parades and fireworks. Let’s celebrate with street fairs, music and food truck festivals, carnivals, and more. Let’s leave the house to explore what NJ has to offer (or not, you do you). If you’re looking for something to do… I got you. These are my top 15 picks are for July 1 – 4, 2022.

It’s back! Over 100 Rides are available for your enjoyment, complete with our very own “kiddie land” for the little ones. Pop some balloons, throw a few rings, or grab the sledgehammer….it’s a game of chance at the fair! Classics like Fried Oreos, Corn Dogs, Frozen Drinks…Our 50+ vendors have all the treats you’ve been craving.

July 1, 5PM – 9PM

The Merchantville Market Off Centre kicks off the 2022 season on Friday, July 1, from 5pm-9pm on the Merchantville Mile! They’re throwin’ it back with a skate party on the mile so grab your skates, boards, scooters and bikes to roll on down to the Market! Blueberry Summer Fest Saturday Markets will run All Blueberry Season Long at Whitesbog! Order a plant, a flat of fresh local blueberries, local blueberry pie in advance. Freedom Festival – 4th of July

Celebrate Independence Day at the Freedom Festival on the Camden Waterfront. Presented by the Camden County Board of Commissioners, City of Camden and WMGK at Wiggins Park. This festival brings thousands of people together to enjoy a series of artists and a spectacular firework show from Serpico Pyrotechnics. Be sure to come to the Camden Waterfront for food, beer, music and fireworks in celebration of the annual Freedom Festival.

Cumberland County Fair

The County Fair is one of the highlights of the summer and brings thousands of families from throughout the state and county.
