NJIB’s Top Ten Picks for New Jersey Events Thanksgiving Weekend:

November 25th – Winter Wonderland in Rahway 
The theme for this year’s event is A Magical Winter Wonderland and will sprinkle plenty of magic into the air for this holiday season! Join us for a family-oriented fun night of entertainment which will include outdoor ice skating, music, inflatables, pictures with Santa, carriage rides, food, drink and many other activities at locations throughout the City.

November 25th – Remember Jones’s BACK to Back to Black: entire AMY Winehouse album w/ 20pc band
Sponsored by New Jersey Isn’t Boring, Hometown favorite and Asbury Park Press “soul sensation” Remember Jones and his band bring their acclaimed party home to The Stone Pony, where they have sold out from Chicago and back. In this one-of-a-kind tribute, the band will recreate the 2006 Grammy-award winning record and include a horn section, strings, a backing choir, and other special guests. Fronted by “one of the most enthusiastic, fiercely passionate powerhouses in the game” (Live for Live Music), Remember Jones will lead the ensemble through 17 songs, including the hit singles “Rehab,” “Tears Dry On Their Own,” “You Know I’m No Good,” “Love is a Losing Game,” and the title track, “Back to Black.”

November 25th- 26th – Holiday Extravaganza
Kick off the holiday season in style with two days of fun events at Excursion Park. Featuring ice skating, a tree lighting ceremony, caroling and refreshments, this event is sure to put you in the holiday spirit. Get some holiday shopping done during small business Saturday as the kids enjoy various activities at Excursion Park. Santa will even make a special appearance as he gears up for his busy holiday season. Friday 4-9pm, Saturday 10am-3pm

November 25th – 27th  – GSWGA’s Holiday Wine Trail
Annual Holiday Wine Trail Weekend is held at participating wineries througout the state. Join NJ vineyards and wineries for this annual tradition of wine tasting, food , entertainment and holiday cheer.

November 25th – 27th  – Dickens’ Days
Dickens’ Days is an annual event that transforms Clinton into a Victorian Village. Visitors can expect to interact with Scrooge, Charles Dickens, and Father Christmas as they stroll through downtown Clinton entertaining shoppers. The town will be decorated for the holidays with toy soldiers on the famous Clinton Bridge, holiday greens, and twinkling lights. Horse drawn carriage rides in full Victorian costume offer a glimpse into the past. Musical performances of all genres will be performed by local artists and music groups throughout the weekend.

November 26th – The Strange Xchange
