Food Truck Spotlight: Oink & Moo BBQ

Looking for the best BBQ in the state? Not only is Nationally ranked food truck Oink and Moo BBQ popping up at your favorite New Jersey Festivals, but they also have two brick and mortar locations.

Started in 2012, founder Josh Sacks started Oink and Moo BBQ with one food truck operating out of Somerset, NJ. It was around that time that he saw a rising trend in food trucks and always wanted to be involved with the food service industry. Since they started they have grown to three food truck and two restaurants and offer catering. Their restaurants are located Florham Park (54 Broadway) and their newest location was opened in the Summer in Voorhees Twp, NJ (Ritz Shopping Center;910 Haddonfield-Berlin Rd).

Between the three owners Josh Sacks, Jon Konopack and Sean Parker, there is wide span of restaurant and food service experience. They take price in their craft and say that “Most of the items offered on the trucks and in the restaurants are a combination of BBQ styles from all over the country. We have all traveled extensively and brought back some of the things we learned to Oink and Moo.”

Each recipe is their own, made in house. Their food is made fresh, nothing is frozen. They make amazing brisket, pulled pork, baby back ribs, chili, and more! They even make their cornbread from scratch!

I’m a big fan of Oink and Moo BBQ, and it’s not because the owners and I used to work together (small world!). Their food truck is always a must stop at every festival, which is why I ranked them as one of my favorite food trucks in New Jersey. More impressively, The Daily Meal rated them the #1 (!) Food Truck in Ameirca!
