Well, well, well… September is here! And it’s officially local Summer. Featured events include Oktoberfests, food festivals, and much more. September is my favorite month because it’s Summer AND Autumn and there’s plenty going on. Let’s leave the house to explore what NJ has to offer (or not, you do you). These are my top 10 New Jersey Events for September 16 – 18, 2022.

Medford Oktoberfest & Music Festival
September 16 & 17 (Rain or Shine)

Enjoy Great Live Music from several local Rock, Folk, and Blues Bands. The event includes a Beer tent, Three tages of Live Music, Food trucks, German Food, Artisan Ciders, kids fun activities and more.

Features special German-themed menus, an outdoor “biergarten,” live entertainment, a kids “Rootbier Garten” activity area and much more.

Festival of the Sea
September 17, 10AM – 7PM. Rain Date September 18

Featuring 250 food and craft vendors with seafood dishes, entertainment, and much more! It’s being organized by the Point Pleasant Chamber of Commerce.

Ridgefield PBA Food Truck and Music Festival
September 17, 11AM – 7PM

The Trucks are rolling into Ridgefield! Food! Beer! Music! Fun! It’s a fun filled family day! 20 delicious Gourmet Food Trucks, beer, margarita & sangria garden, Live Music, 50/50, axe throwing, kid activities including Pony rides, petting zoo, face painting, knockerball, inflatables, sand art & so much more!

The Latino Festival of Monmouth County
September 17, 12PM – 7PM

This event is a fun family oriented event with special attractions, musical acts, cultural offerings, and some of the most delicious Latin American cuisine found in Central Jersey. The festival celebrates Latino culture through music, dance, food, and entertainment!

Oktoberfest Skylands Stadium
September 17, 1PM – 7PM

With more than 25 seasonal beers, traditional German food specials, live music, and games/competitions, this one-day-only, rain or shine event includes admission to the event, a 32 oz. souvenir stein, and one draft fill. For those not interested in the draft beer offered at Oktoberfest, canned and bottled beer, seltzer, cider, and wine will also be available for purchase. And for those who are designated drivers or are sober companions, we offer a designated driver admission. Also find various games including a stein holding contest, keg squatting, cornhole, kan jam, and giant pong. Live music will be going strong throughout the day with college football playing on the video board. This is a 21+-only event; no minors or pets (service animals exempt) will be allowed entry into the event.

The 2nd Annual Brunch Festival

On Saturday, September 17th, 1-8PM The Warinanco Park Ice Skating Rink Will turn into the Ultimate Event Space! Don’t Miss The 2nd Annual Brunch Festival!! Brought to you by PHILINTHEBRUNCH & The Concrete Rose Project. This Event Will Feature Food From your Favorite Food trucks and vendors as well as VIP & Bottle Service.

Mountan Creek Oktoberfest
September 17 & 18, 12PM – 7PM

Welcome to the Home of NJ’s #1 Oktoberfest at Mountain Creek Resort. Jersey’s favorite Oktoberfest is quickly approaching and you don’t want to miss out on the fun. Experience Oktoberfest in Vernon, New Jersey with live music, a wide variety of german, domestic and seasonal beers, ciders, & more, authentic german food, and activities for kids and adults alike. We’ll be vastly expanding our serving lines with 6 beer trailers and more than a dozen satellite stations with craft beer, seltzer and canned cocktails.

This event features a celebration of German heritage with live German music, beer, food, and the Steuben Parade. Germania Park has been dedicated to preserving German culture since 1895.

The Downbeach Seafood Festival
September 17 & 18, 11AM – 7PM
The Downbeach Seafood Festival dates are set for 2022 join us for an adventure in food discovery Saturday, September 17th, and Sunday, September 18th on Ventnor’s Ski Beach from 11am to 7pm each day. The team at Good Team Tricycle Productions will transform Ventnor’s Ski Beach into a seafood lover’s dream featuring approximately 25-30 different local and regional seafood restaurants and purveyors who will be serving up their favorite seafaring dishes!
With the majority of the restaurants attending being brick-and-mortar Atlantic County restaurants, The Downbeach Seafood festival will give attendees the opportunity to experience this seaside community as a culinary destination. It is also a great opportunity for foodies and food seekers to meet some of Atlantic County’s most unique chefs and restaurateurs all while eating their tasty creations. From clams to calamari, oysters to ahi, and even alligators too.
