Prost! 25+ New Jersey Oktoberfests for 2022

Prost! Now that it’s Fall (technically Fall starts Sept 22), it’s time to celebrate Oktoberfest all across New Jersey. Here are some New Jersey Oktoberfest events to put on your calendar. Some of these events take place as early as this weekend (apologies for the delay…I don’t know why Oktoberfest starts in September), so be sure to view this list often. Bookmark it in case new events show up.

Due to the ongoing restrictions and safety regulations with Covid-19, please verify these events before attending in case of any last-minute cancellations. And always check the weather!

St. Mary’s Oktoberfest 2022
September 16, 6:30PM

It has been three very long years, but Oktoberfest is finally back in action at St. Mary’s Church of Nutley! Tickets for this 21 and older event are $60 each, which include a glass beer stein, authentic German buffet, German beers & beverages, pretzels, and apple strudel! We will also have a live German band, German dancers, and a beer truck, along with raffles and prizes to give away

Medford Oktoberfest & Music Festival
September 16 & 17 (Rain or Shine)

Enjoy Great Live Music from several local Rock, Folk, and Blues Bands. The event includes a Beer tent, Three tages of Live Music, Food trucks, German Food, Artisan Ciders, kids fun activities and more.

Oktoberfest Skylands Stadium
September 17, 1PM – 7PM

With more than 25 seasonal beers, traditional German food specials, live music, and games/competitions, this one-day-only, rain or shine event includes admission to the event, a 32 oz. souvenir stein, and one draft fill. For those not interested in the draft beer offered at Oktoberfest, canned and bottled beer, seltzer, cider, and wine will also be available for purchase. And for those who are designated drivers or are sober companions, we offer a designated driver admission. Also find various games including a stein holding contest, keg squatting, cornhole, kan jam, and giant pong. Live music will be going strong throughout the day with college football playing on the video board. This is a 21+-only event; no minors or pets (service animals exempt) will be allowed entry into the event.

Mountan Creek Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest
September 24, 9AM – 6PM

Celebrate the famous Bavarian tradition in Cape May the festival will be located on Carpenter Lane between Decatur & Jackson and continue down Jackson Street to Beach Ave. as it is transformed into a German promenade with authentic music and food. Visit the Beer Gardens and Food Courts browse the artisans tables selling crafts, antiques and collectibles.

Carlstadt Oxtoberfest

The Borough of Carlstadt is turning the Village Green into a Biergarten for a day for their first-ever Oxtoberfest. Featuring Beer and “Malt”terntive Beverages from Bolero Snort Brewery and Evil Water Hard Fruit Juice. The day will feature live music from the Seth Tieger Band and The Jingleheimer German Band plus food and treats from local restaurants and food trucks!

Montclair Brewery Oktoberfest

Join Montclair Brewery as they celebrate the 4th Annual Oktoberfest on September 24. Indulge in the MB Lager Munich Dunkel, the Fume, and a few other special German-style and local-inspired craft brews. Music all day long with super-talented local bands such as the Porchistas, Jazz Boat, Howlin’ Poets and the Michael Reitman Band. Montclair Brewery’s resident DJ No Requests is on the turntables throughout the event. Dress in your German-Best Oktoberfest attire and enter the costume contest or join the stein-hoisting contest to test your strength! The first 150 adult ticket holders will receive a commemorative pin and branded souvenir stein. All ticket holders will receive one free drink ticket to be used for an alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage. Outdoor games are available for play, and Oktoberfest-inspired foods will be available for purchase.

Hackettstown Oktoberfest 2022!

Ready to kick off the fall season with one of the biggest town-wide events of the year? Join the Hackettstown BID, Czig Meister Brewing Company, Manskirt Brewing Company, and Bea McNally’s as they host events throughout the course of the weekend. Chester Lion Club’s Curbside Oktoberfest Weekend

Please join the CHESTER LIONS CLUB at their 23rd Annual Oktoberfest Weekend. All the proceeds from this event go to various charities and other worthy causes. The Chester Lions Club food tent offers a variety of authentic German food including bratwurst, German potato salad, sauerkraut, smoked pork chops, apple strudel, delicious beehive cake, and authentic plum cake, and more.

This event features a high-quality craft show with up to 75 craftspersons bringing their handmade crafts in many media. It’s a great place for holiday shopping, for gifts, or for items for your own use and enjoyment. There will be German music, German food, water, and soft drinks; Korean delicacies; inflatable games. While at the fair visit the Demarest Nature Center and environmental information tables. All proceeds go to benefit The Demarest Nature Center.
