Wellness Wednesday: Spring Clean with Absolute Green

Spring Cleaning is in effect, and what better way to clean your home by using a green, vegan, and New Jersey small business like Absolute Green.

Absolute Green is the brainchild of entrepreneur Karen Halo who was becoming sick daily from the toxic chemicals found in her cleaning supplies. While looking for a healthier alternative, nothing was meeting the standards of what is meant to be an actual “natural” cleaning company. Most products she researched contained chemicals, toxins, environmentally unfriendly packaging, animal testing, or a combination of all of these.

This set her out on a mission to create green and clean products that would have less of an impact on our bodies, pets, homes, and environment.

Absolute Green products are PH -balanced (non-abrasive), use eco-friendly packaging and practices, cruelty-free and vegan.

Everything is made, mixed, bottled, and shipped from their facility in Middlesex County.

You can find a variety of different products from air fresheners, cleaners, fabric sprays, wood care, bug repellent, hand sanitizer, and even a yoga mat cleaning spray.

Different scents include lavender (my personal fave), peppermint, lemon, and more. They never use any synthetic fragrances, sulfates (SLS/SLES/ALS), GMO’s, chlorine, ammonia, phthalates, phosphates, dyes, colorants, or animal by-products. You can find out more about their ingredients here.

The reviews speak for themselves with a multitude of 5-Star Ratings from real customers.

Their Philosophy:

Our commitment to 100% natural products is unwavering—as is our interest in being “good citizens of the world.” We employ students, military, handicapped as well as work with local universities to employ interns to learn about sustainability and grow within the business—from the office to the production line.

Our manufacturing practices are 98% closed-loop, with local sourcing and sustainable practices in place with very little waste. Environmentally friendly packaging shows our commitment to doing the right thing. We use plastic bottles that can be recycled and biodegradable packing peanuts, made from starch, which can be composted!

Absolute Green ships nationally and can be found at your local Marshall’s, Home Goods, TJ Maxx, Whole Foods, and online at Amazon.com. You can also purchase products directly from their website.
