Top Ten New Jersey Events to Check Out April 16 – 18, 2021

It’s baccccck. Now that people are getting vaccinated and events aren’t being canceled ALL.THE.TIME I feel comfortable bringing back my top events for the weekend.

Now through April 16

Participating restaurants offer prix fixe menus for both dining in and take out. Guests should RSVP to participating restaurants directly if dining indoors or curbside. Reservations are limited. Pizza and Wine Release Party at Autumn Lake Winery
April 16, 4PM – 8PM

It’s an exciting time at Autumn Lake Winery as they are proud to introduce their newest addition to the award-winning wines! Join them on Friday, April 16th from 4-8pm to get a first taste of their Sangiovese Rosé. Buon Viaggio will be serving their Wood-Fired Oven pizzas and Beth Tinnon will be here performing!

2021 Spring Swap Meet & Auto Show
April 16 – 18

The Bi-annual Englishtown Swap Meet & Auto Show is held in April & September, rain or shine. It runs from Friday through Sunday with Vendor spaces on pavement and grass, over 300 Car for Sale spaces on pavement, and free parking for attendees. Sale merchandise consists of a wide array of parts, accessories, and miscellaneous items.

Spring Maker’s Market
April 17, 9AM – 4PM

The Haddon Township Makers Market is an open-air market of all things— artisan inspired and made by hand. Stop by Haddon Square in the heart of their thriving downtown and find a curated selection of local and regional artisans and makers and their handmade creations. Art, jewelry, accessories, homewares, clothing, beauty products and gourmet items that are inspired by the heart and soul of an emerging maker will be available on Saturday, April 17th from 9 am to 4 pm. So, if you are a lover of all things handmade, then look not further— local makers, live music, and interactive workshops and samplings.

Union Craft Crawl
April 17, 10AM – 3PM

The Union Craft Crawl is a mobile craft show of Union crafters and artists. We are inviting customers to drive to the locations of participating crafters. A map of crafters/artists will be published by the Union Craft Crawl, so that customers know where to go. There will be a great selection of beautiful handmade items, such as pottery, paper art, paintings, photography, crochet/knitted pieces, jewelry, and so much more. This event will be held a few weeks before Mother’s Day and is a great opportunity to buy something special, while visiting a great community, and spending a day getting to know Union, NJ. Mullica Hill Antiques Street Fair

Join local dealers and those from the tri-state area as they set up tables, booths and tents filled with antiques and vintage items along Historical Main Street in Mullica Hill. There will be food vendors available.

Family Fun Day: Arbor(etum) Day!

Liberty Hall enjoys the benefit of lots of trees – even before William Livingston moved to the property, he was ordering trees to be planted for enjoyment and study. Although so much has changed in 250 years, the love of trees has not! Join for activities, games & crafts on the grounds as Liberty Hall opens their new arboretum and continue what the Livingston family began.

Barefoot Grape Stomp-Four Sisters Winery

Winter Market presented by Grow It Green Morristown
April 18, 10AM – 1PM

Grow It Green Morristown presents the Winter Farmers’ Market every Sunday, outdoors on the parking deck behind the Morris Museum. The market will be open to at-risk customers from 9:30 am to 10 am. Grow It Green is a local nonprofit that is pleased to host this outdoor Winter Market to support local farmers and artisans. This year the Winter Market will offer a wide range of unique selections from pasture-raised meat to artisanal, cheese, honey, prepared foods, nuts and grains, baked goods, artisan bread, eggs, produce and hand-crafted home goods.
