Top Ten New Jersey Events for July 14th – 16th, 2017:

Mt. Olive Community Week and Carnival – July 12th – 16th
This beloved event is popular amongst Mount Olive residents and surrounding towns featuring carnival rides, specialty foods and the very popular fireworks night.

Freedom Festival State Fair – July 12th – 16th
Guests can enjoy attractions and games as well as great fair food and picnic grounds. They will have a variety of exciting activities including a magic show, live animals, racing pigs and much more! Bring the whole family for a fun experience.

Cost: Tickets can be purchased at the gate for $15 and there is a pre-sale at participating Walgreens for $10 per ticket starting June 14th.

Ocean County Fair – July 12th – 16th
The Ocean County Fair is the premier agricultural fair of Ocean County. Located at Miller Air Park in Berkeley Twp, the fair features agricultural and animal shows including horse show, rides for all ages, delicious food, games, music, vendors, and much more!

Black Potatoe Music Festival – July 14th – 16th
Without catering to music industry trends, the Black Potatoe Music Festival has presented diverse acts from the national, regional, and local levels.

Hackettstown Restaurant Week– July 14th – 30th
Hackettstown will celebrate its diverse and exciting dining options with the 5th Annual Restaurant Week “Passport to HKTWN” from Friday, July 14 through Sunday, July 30, 2017. Hackettstown offers local quality and ethnically diverse restaurants with everything from Italian to Vietnamese. Diners simply visit participating establishments during the event to enjoy prix fixe lunches and/or dinners, and other specials.

Bound Brook Food Truck Festival – July 15th
The Just Jersey Fest is rolling into Bound Brook. Food! Beer! Music! Fun! New Jersey foodies, eat your hearts out! It’s a fun filled family day! Over 20 Gourmet Food Trucks, DJ, Kids activiities, Beer/Sangria & Vendors, make for an enchanting and fulfilling Summer day. Bring your appetite, lawn chairs and blankets. Dine on excellent food, while enjoying the beer and sangria garden along with the amazing sounds. Face painting, Sand Art, Rock climbing Wall. Event is CoSponsored by the Bound Brook Revitalization Partnership.

Atlantic Highlands FilmOne Fest – July 15th
FilmOneFest (the Atlantic Highlands One-Minute International Film Festival) is a celebration of the super short film and a snap-shot of the creative image making happening online and across the world. Founded in 2008, the festival takes place on third Saturday of July, in 2017, it will be on July 15th, 2017 at the Atlantic Highlands Marina. Films (under 2 minutes in length) from local and international film and video makers are projected on a giant screen under the stars on the historic shores of Sandy Hook Bay.

GSWGA’s Barrel Trail Weekend – July 15th & 16th
Get a first hand look inside the barrel room at your favorite New Jersey winery and taste future vintages right from the barrel as winemakers explain the wine making process. A great behind-the-scenes opportunity to learn about wine making from the men and women making New Jersey’s award-winning wines. Check schedule for participating wineries and the events they have scheduled

Family Fun Day & Food Trucks – July 15th & 16th
Enjoy the Lake, Paddle boats, petting zoo, mini golf, volley ball, swimming, water slide, basketball, music and Food Trucks and more!

Cost: Admission for ages 13 and up is $10 (+ $1.54 service fee) in advance. $15 at the door.

Red Bank Food & Wine Walk – July 16th
Red Bank’s walkable downtown district is home to a broad array of upscale restaurants and casual eateries that will please everyone’s palate. Explore picturesque Red Bank while enjoying food and/or beverage samples at over 20 participating restaurants, bars & eateries.Each ticket is $35 and entitles you to a wristband, which you will pick up on the day of the event (proper ID required). You will be able to choose your pickup location when you purchase your tickets. All attendees must be at least 21 years old and must be present in order to pickup their wristband. When you pick up your wristband, you will also receive a map listing all of the participating businesses. The Food & Wine Walk is a self-guided tour. You are free to choose your own route & visit as many of the participating businesses as you like!
