Hackettstown BID’s 12th Annual Hometown Holiday – December 1st
The Hackettstown BID will host the 12th Annual Hometown Holiday celebration, in partnership with Centenary University, Fulton Bank of New Jersey, and Wells Fargo, and sponsored in part by Dunkin Donuts, The House of the Good Shepherd, Maser Consulting Engineering, and Hackettstown Parking Authority.
Look for all of your favorite activities and events!

Roselle Park’s Annual Tree Lighting – December 1st
Mayor Carl A. Hokanson and the Roselle Park Borough Council invites everyone to kick-off the holiday season at 5:00 p.m. at Michael Mauri Gazebo Park, located at the corner of Chestnut Street and Grant Avenue in Roselle Park. Holiday activities for all age groups including pony rides, face painting, balloon artists, and live entertainment will take place on Grant Avenue from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Free pizza, refreshments, and gifts for children ages 5 to 10 will be served while supplies last from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Performances by the Roselle Park High School, Middle School, and Elementary School Choirs will begin at 7:00 p.m., followed by the Christmas Tree Lighting. As a tradition, Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive on a Roselle Park Fire Truck. Residents are welcome to take pictures with Santa inside the Gazebo after the Tree Lighting Ceremony.

Montclair’s Tree Lighting & BID Bear Give Away – December 1st
Montclair Center’s Annual Tree Lighting. Music, refreshments and fun to usher in the holiday season. Very large BID Bear will be given away to a lucky person.

Holiday on Haddon Township Festival – December 1st
Santa Claus is coming to town on Friday, December 1st for the annual “Holiday on Haddon” celebration. The “Parade of Lights” sponsored by the Westmont Fire Company No.1 will begin at 7:00 pm and make its way down Haddon Ave. to the municipal building. Decorated fire trucks, bands, floats, holiday characters and, of course, Santa will all be parading their way to the Township tree. The tree lighting ceremony will take place immediately following the parade where all of Santa’s helpers will be encouraged to magically light the tree. Afterwards, families are invited for refreshments at the Westmont Fire Company No. 1 and children will get a chance to sit on Santa’s lap before he returns to the North Pole. There is no rain date for the parade. Refreshments and photos with Santa will still be held at the Westmont Fire house in case of inclement weather.The Township will also be collecting unwrapped toys and non-perishable food items for the Annual Holiday Toy Drive that evening.

Burlington City’s Holiday Parade/Tree-Lighting – December 2nd
This Holiday Parade is an annual favorite for years and among the best in the region, featuring almost 60 mins. of decorated floats, musical groups, and other colorful marchers. The parade begins at sundown (approximately 5 pm) on High & Federal and travels through Burlington’s historical downtown with many restaurants and shops to High & Pearl on the Riverfront Promenade, where the Holiday Tree-lighting takes place, followed by cookies and hot chocolate with Santa at the Hope Fire House across the street

Crystal Springs Family Water Park is sponsoring a FREE outdoor showing of Frozen before the lighting
East Brunswick Independent Fire Company & East Brunswick Recreation and Parks will provide a fire pit throughout the festivities
East Brunswick Girl Scouts will assist in decorating the Tree
Frost Elementary School Chorus will lead everyone in caroling

The Middletown Arts Center will be holding a Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony with crafts and entertainment on Sunday, December 3rd at the Arts Center on Church St. Along with the tree lighting there will be a special visit from Santa escorted by the Old Village Fire Company, music, crafts, entertainment, 50/50 raffle to benefit the Arts Center, and much more!

Caldwell Christmas Tree Lighting – December 3rd
Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the Caldwell Town Green Festivities begin at 5:00 with Santa scheduled to arrive at 5:15. After the Lighting, Refreshments will be served and a Holiday Auction will be held to benefit the Caldwell Volunteer Fire Dept. Children’s Education Fund at the Caldwell Firehouse. Music will be provided by DJ Joe Garamella.
