Earth Day Weekend at the NJ Botanical Garden

There’s no better way to celebrate than with a visit to NJBG, where you’ll find the beauty of nature and a soothing respite from this busy world, plus a number of special programs. NJBG is open 8am to 8pm every day, free of charge.

CMC 2019 Earth Day
April 20, 10AM – 4PM
The Annual Cape May County Earth Day Fair is more than just a day in the park. The Cape May County Board of Chosen Freeholders has planned a long list of eco-friendly events for the celebration to be held at the Cape May County Park and Zoo. Kids will enjoy story time, inflatable obstacle course & slide, an interactive drum circle, hands-on educational exhibits, free entertainment, naturalist hike, food and crafts and much more.

South Jersey Geek Fest
April 20, 10AM – 5PM
Geek Fest is a small/medium convention born and bred in South Jersey. The mission is to bring folks together to appreciate their own version of geek. The floor will be divided into vendors and artists/game devs/web folk, cosplayers and some tournaments/open board game play.

Gloucester County’s Largest Egg Hunt
April 20, 10AM – 12PM
Thousands of children will search the park for colorful eggs, filled with candy and prizes, hidden in the grass. There will be music, dancing, and fun to entertain the kids before the Easter Egg Hunt. And of course, the morning would not be complete without the Bunny who will be joining in on the fun and available for selfies and pictures!

River Horse Brewery 6K and Spring Beer Festival
April 20, 10AM
The River Horse 6k is so much more than just a race – It’s a celebration of beer, music, food, and friends! This 6k Race starts and finishes at the River Horse Brewing Company. With a unique distance, your PR is almost guaranteed! River Horse prizes will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each age group. The festival that follows benefits the local police, The PBA Local 111. They’ll have live music until 4:00pm, with food trucks and family friendly activities like a dunk tank and line dancing! They’ll also be celebrating the 2019 release of River Horse Summer Blonde Ale, with that and other great beers available on draft.

TruckFest
April 20, 11AM – 3PM
Truckfest is an annual Community Service Interclub Council (CSICC) event that serves the dual purpose of bringing the Princeton University and Town of Princeton communities together to combat hunger in the Princeton and Greater New Jersey Area. The day is full of delicious food trucks, games, live performances, face painting, and music! All proceeds go to the organizations Meals on Wheels and Send Hunger Packing.

Easter Egg Hunt and Festival at Allaire Village
April 20, 11AM – 4PM
A day of Easter fun for the entire family! This year will have over 15,000 eggs on the village green. Hunts will take place every 15 minutes between 11:30 am and 4pm. Children will be grouped according to age, into the following categories: 0-1 (with an assisting adult), 2-3 (with an assisting adult), 4-5 (kids only, no adult assistance), 6-7 (kids only, no adult assistance), and 8-10 (kids only, no adult assistance). Each child can hunt for 6 eggs total.

Easter at the Pier
April 20, 12PM – 4PM
Celebrate Easter at Pier Village with a Meet & Greet with the Easter Bunny, Bunny Hop Sack Races, Egg on a Spoon Races, Hop-A-Thon, Dance Contest, Rubber Duck Races, Face Painting, Balloon Artist, Inflatable Rides, and more! A full day of family fun!

MDA Eats N Beats
April 20, 12PM – 6PM
MDA Eats N Beats is a food truck and music festival on the grounds of the Roebling Museum, in Roebling NJ, between Bordentown and Burlington. We will feature multiple types of cuisine and live music all day from our two stages. There will be children’s activities, a silent auction and of course a beer garden featuring NJ Craft Beers as well as the standards. All proceeds go to The Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Greater Wildwood Annual Easter Egg Hunt
