Easter is always a fun time in New Jersey and one thing that is always a great tradition are Easter Egg Hunts! So I did some research to find at least 20 “Egg-Conceptional” events to check out this year! (PS. All events are free unless mentioned differently)

Pitman Grove Easter Egg Hunt & Activities

The Madison Area Chamber of Commerce is preparing for the Easter Bunny to bring plenty of candy and toy-filled Easter eggs to the downtown businesses during its annual Easter Fun Fest event on Saturday, April 13 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. Children and their parents are invited to bring their Easter baskets and visit Chamber-member merchants in Madison in order to collect candy and toy-filled eggs.

The Easter Bunny Train Ride and Easter Egg Hunt
April 13, 14 & 20

Ride the Easter Bunny Train Ride and visit with Mr. E. Bunny on the train. Your ride will wind along the scenic Delaware River leaving from the Historic District of Phillipsburg, New Jersey. The train will travel along the river to Carpentersville and our destination will be the site of the historic Lime Kilns. In front of the 150 year old Lime kilns is a beautiful little glade filled with Easter eggs! Once we arrive you can get off the train, take a picture with Mr. Bunny and gather 4 Easter eggs!

Egg Hunt at Oasis Farms

Classic holiday songs are sure to keep you warm and fuzzy, while the kids hip-pity hop all around, looking for hidden Easter eggs. Meet the Easter Bunny, and take photos with him and his friends! Different zones for different ages, hundreds of Easter Eggs per zone. Each zone is in a safe, fun, and organized area!

Children will be grouped according to age, into the following categories: 0-1 (with an assisting adult), 2-3 (with an assisting adult), 4-5 (kids only, no adult assistance), 6-7 (kids only, no adult assistance), and 8-10 (kids only, no adult assistance). Each child can hunt for 6 eggs total.

The Easter Egg Hunt is free of charge and open to East Brunswick residents for all children 10 years of age and under. There will be a special appearance by the Easter Bunny. Find the golden egg to win a special prize! In the event of rain, the Easter Egg Hunt will be held Sunday, April 21st at noon.

There will be over 4,000 eggs in the Easter Egg Patches at Diggerland. Every EGG has a prize and 20 GOLDEN eggs have grand prizes hidden in them. The hunts are for children 12 and under. Please bring your own basket or bag to collect eggs. They will have separate areas for children up to 8 years old and children 9 to 12 years old.
