It’s no secret that New Jersey has no shortage of excellent restaurants. So it’s great that there are some very smart people who started food tours in their neighborhood! Whether you’re in a college town, city, downtown area, or by the beach there are tours to excite your taste buds.

Beyond the Plate Food Tours
With tours in foodie cities like Hoboken, Red Bank, Princeton, and Somerville, Beyond the Plate Food Tours takes you on a three hour foodie experience that you’ll tell all your friends about. Beyond the Plate  Food Tours started in Jersey City and has expanded to food tours throughout the Garden State. Not only will you explore the food scene and take in the local culture, but you’ll also gain insight and learn history of the towns you’ll visit. The OG of NJ food tours, Cape May Food Tours will have you savoring in local cuisine at multiple locations, learn about the Victorian sights, and delve into Cape May culture. If you’ve ever been to Cape May you know there’s an abundance of great local restaurants, so why not try out a few in a day? Looking for more information? The New Jersey Food Tour Trail was launched in 2021 as a collaboration of food tours that operate in various regions throughout the state. The joining of tours was developed for tourists to create their own trail in an effort to “eat their way” throughout New Jersey.
