The Jersey City Craft Brew Fest
October 23, Session 1: 1PM – 4:30PM, Session 2: 6PM – 9:30PM

The Jersey City Craft Brew Fest is a perfect opportunity for beer aficionados to enjoy and oktoberfest style beer tasting in their own backyard. The Morgan St Lot will be hosting an eclectic variety of supremely fermented beer and cider in all styles, combining the best elements of a Beer Garden with the staggering array of choices found only at a Craft Beer Festival.

With over 150 craft beers, it’s a great place to discover new beers and speak to brewery representatives. There will be many New Jersey breweries in attendance, including Jersey City’s own Departed Soles, Hoboken’s 902 Brewing, and many others. Guests will enjoy craft beer samples, paired with live music. Delicious food from Angry Archie’s, Chavas Empanadas, Mozzarepas, Taste of Poland & more!

Olde Time Itatlian Festival
October 1 & 2

The 15th anniversary! Come experience an ‘Olde World’ family festival including a Procession of the Saints, delicious Italian food favorites, merchandise vendors, games, and continuous FREE live entertainment. A spaghetti eating contest will take place as well. SPECIAL for the 15th Anniversary Celebration, the Skyliners will perform Friday night and Bobby Rydell will perform Saturday night!

The Gloucester Township Campus of Camden County Technical Schools will be sponsoring a Food Truck and Craft Fair Fall Festival on Saturday, October 2nd. All are invited to attend this family-friendly event. The feel-good spirit of Highlands 19th ANNUAL Oktoberfest is modeled after the traditional Munich, Germany Oktoberfest with an emphasis on eating; drinking and being merry while providing something for everyone. Authentic German food, live music, dancing and other great entertainment will be part of the Annual Oktoberfest celebration taking place in Veterans Park on Bay & Shrewsbury Avenues. The park is festive with fall decorations, the food is great and the varieties of German beers are even better. Authentic German food is a highlight of this famous festival. Greek Agora Food Festival

4th Annual Verona Food Truck Festival

This year the festival will be held at the Verona Town Square. We will also have a beer garden again this year. Bring the kids too, since there will be inflatables, live music, a beer garden, and some awesome food trucks.

Boo Brew By the Bay

The Highlands Business Partnership Boo Brew By the Bay features craft beers for beer-lovers to sample on the pier at this picturesque location, overlooking the NY City skyline and Sandy Hook. The tasting takes place on the picturesque waterfront of the Shrewsbury River. Tickets are $30.00 and include six 4oz. tastings and a pint of craft beer in a commemorative pilsner cup. Additional tastings can be purchased at the event for $3. Live music, a costume contest, fire pits, and great food. Participating breweries include, Belford Brewing Company, Raritan Bay Brewing, Carton Brewing, Red Tank Brewing, and Toms River Brewing to name a few.

Witch-Craft
October 16, 6PM – 9PM
From the producers of the beloved Atlantic City Beer and Music Festival comes a new, fun, Fall festivity that will have you in a hex. Paradise Lake Campgrounds will be transformed into a mysterious wooded village of local partners serving up zesty stews and seasonal brews so magical it must be Witch Craft.

This experience is unlike any other beer festival, autumn activity or spook show. Imagine a one-of-a-kind Halloween-lifestyle extravaganza co-hosted by the original monster movie characters! Tents will be decked to the nines in mysterious haunt or corny charm, with approximately 50 brewmasters and distillery wizards pouring their classics, as well as some seasonal debuts. Guests will stroll along an enchanted path throughout Lake Lenape Park East while sampling all of the magical liquid being poured. At the end of the night, it will be up to the attendees to decide which tent should be awarded “best dressed ”with bragging rights until next year.
