Oh Baby! My Visit to the NJ Baby Expo

On Sunday, November 6th I had an opportunity to attend the NJ Baby Expo hosted by NJ Mom at the W Hotel in Hoboken, NJ. As someone who is not currently pregnant or has a child, I wasn’t sure if there was anything for me at the event. However what I came to find that this more than just a baby expo.

The event had a full floor of the beautiful hotel, with lots of local vendors sharing everything from products to food, photography, educational seminars and more. Overall the event featured over 60 baby and kids brands that showcased the best in baby gear & accessories. A lot of the vendors also offered free samples and coupons which was a major bonus.

Among the local businesses in attendance were Little Bee Learning Studio in Hoboken, Celebrate Life Studio which offers dance, art song classes for families in Hoboken, and Mindful Midwifery which currently has locations in Hackensack and Hoboken.

As a non-parent I enjoyed eating samples from local eateries like Milk Sugar Love which offers amazing organic ice cream, the Squirrel and the Bee which is a grainless bake shop, and Pickals which is a pickle company that raises money for ALS research.

For those who needed a break during the event, there was a kids lounge, a mommy lounge, and a man cave in the W Hotel’s bar which even offered signature cocktails for the event.

I was also lucky enough to attend the influencer lounge where I connected with fellow NJ bloggers and entrepreneurs. I even got to meet the mayor of Hoboken! I also got to witness an amazing panel called “What She Said” which featured Jen DeMarco from Local Barre, Rebecca Borucki from Bexlife.com, and Jennifer Rossano who created NeuroticMommy.com.

Overall the NJ Baby Expo was fantastic, and NJ Mom put on an AMAZING event. I may not be a mom, but I definitely got insight on what it takes to be a mom and have information on great companies and products.
