PB’s Diner and Tap Room in Glassboro: Review

For my latest diner review I went to check out PB’s Diner and Tap Room, located in Glassboro, NJ. It’s hard for me to check off diners on the Gloucester County list, since when I’m in the area I’m usually with family eating meals at one of their homes. So, this time I went to a diner in the area WITH family, so I got to see them AND visit a diner.

The last time I went to PB’s Diner was at least 8 years ago, so I hadn’t been there since they did their renovation. It’s interesting to see a diner with such a huge bar area, and it’s nice to see that they offer a lot of craft beer on tap.  I know not everyone loves the idea of a diner with a bar, but considering PB’s Diner in in a college town (Rowan University), it’s a great place for college kids to hang out especially for those 21+.  Non-college kids will enjoy having another bar in town, especially since they have great happy hour specials.

The diner has a very big menu, and they have a lot of creative items to choose from. We started our meal sharing buffalo chicken dip, which was fantastic.

Choosing an item for myself was tough since their was so much I liked. Here are some things that caught my eye: buffalo wings with 7 different sauce options, 7 different types of fun french fries (including smoked pork), thin crust pizza, the Thanksgiving Dinner entree, MAC AND CHEESE BOWLS, the PB Jammers (Pork roll, scrapple, bacon, egg and cheese on torpedo roll), and so much more.

Another thing I liked on their menu was their two for $25.99 menu which included an appetizer to share and two dinner entrees, plus a choice of soup or salad. They also had “sunset dinners” which had a list of great menu options served with soup or salad for only $10.99 (which two of my family members got). Lots of great, delicious options and you can’t beat the price!

Ultimately, I decided to go with a chicken cheesesteak with fries. It was reallllllly good.

My husband got the the Breakfast Burger (Ham, bacon & a Sunny Side Up Egg) which was pretty interesting. Their burger menu overall was very creative, including the DOUBLE STUFFED DADDY (Two Burger Patties Stuffed with Bacon & Mozzarella. Served with Chipotle Mayo).

Between the service, the food, and the affordability…these diner definitely gets a good grade in my book! Plus, you can grab a tempting dessert on the way out…
