What’s fun for Fall? New Jersey Ghost Tours! Some of these New Jersey ghost tours are offered year-round, and some are just offered in the Fall and Halloween Season. Prepare to get a history lesson on New Jersey, hear ghost stories, and maybe see a ghost or two!

Ghosts of Cape May Trolley Tour
Nobody knows Cape May’s ghosts better than psychic medium Craig McManus. Your MAC guide relates his findings on this 30-minute trolley tour through darkened streets and flickering gas lamps. Discover just what the ghosts said to McManus and where they are living…well, sort of. Begins at the Washington Street Mall Information Booth where tickets are sold.

Spirits and Oddities Trolley Tour
Cats in ghostly form purr from the beyond. Beloved family members in photographs without their heads. Graves equipped with a torpedo to put off intruders. Victorians of the late 19th century had wild notions about the passage from life to death. Belief in ghosts and spirits was common and superstition abounded. Hear several Cape May ghost stories and more strange stories from Victorian Cape May history that are macabre, mysterious or just plain weird! Begins and ends at the Ocean Street trolley stop.

Ghost Tour of Ocean City
Candlelight walking tour through the avenues of the beautiful resort town of Ocean City, NJ. Listen to the tales of the unknown and folklore of the shore on this entertaining jaunt around the historic town center… What secret lies in the depths with the Sindia? What is the dark shadow haunting the beaches in the dead of night? Does the legend of the Pine Barrens – the Jersey Devil – keep you from leaving Ocean City? Fun in the sun turns into fear in the dark after hearing these haunting tales! Tour approx 90 minutes.

Princeton Ghost Tour
The experienced ghost hunters will walk you through battlegrounds, neighborhoods and squares where unexplained apparitions or paranormal activity have been reported. All ghost tours provide access to EMF Meters, Therma-meters, Dowsing Rods and Night Vision flashlights. At the end of the ghost hunt, history buffs take over and escort the group inside one of America’s oldest cemeteries – where a Signer of the Declaration of Independence, a United States President, Vice President, Nobel Prize winners and famous inventors have chosen to rest. This cemetery is owned and operated by Nassau Presbyterian Church.

Asbury Park’s Ghost & Legends Tour Downtown

Costumed guides tell the stories of New Jersey’s first European settlers, Revolutionary War heroes, members of Victorian society and much more! Ghosts of the Lighthouse Trolley Tour
Travel along the ghostly path that leads to the Cape May Lighthouse during this evening trolley tour just as dusk darkens the shadows. You will visit the 1859 Cape May Lighthouse, silent witness to storms and tragedy for over a century of maritime history. Hear the tales of brazen pirates and lonely maids, with Cape May ghost stories unearthed by renowned psychic medium and author Craig McManus. Climb to the top of the lighthouse or stay below. Ghastley Tales of the Civil War

Hear horrible tales of the Civil War, such as medical practice and victorian funeral practices. Our connection to the war and town history. Maybe a ghost tale or two. A portion of the proceeds goes to charity and educational programs.

East Brunswick Ghost Walk 
Come and learn about your “Passed” neighbors of the Old Bridge village neighborhood of East Brunswick during the month of October – the spooky time of year.  Participants should meet at the pocket park at Kossman Street and Old Bridge Turnpike, East Brunswick. From murders in 1727 to 1906, Civil War soldiers, ships captains, from men, women and children who have gone before, hear of ghostly happenings and perhaps experience one yourself. The fee is $10 (a portion of the proceeds goes to the local fire department). The event is held rain or shine; wheelchair and stroller friendly. Bring a flashlight, and have a ghoulishly good time.
