Top Ten New Jersey Events for September 7th – 9th, 2018

Can you believe it’s September and Fall is right around the corner? Crazy! From the Asbury Park Oysterfest, to the Sea Isle City Food Truck Festival, the Jersey City Craft Distillery Fest (I have a promo code!!!!), and Pier Village’s Annual Kite Festival and more…there is PLENTY to to do this weekend! Here are my picks for the Top Ten New Jersey Events for September 7th – 9th, 2018.

Asbury Park Oysterfest
The Annual Asbury Park Oysterfest is back and better than ever! What’s the perfect recipe for a cool weekend in hottest town at the Jersey Shore? Start with fresh seafood and other culinary delights, add a dash of music, and a pinch of surprises and you have Asbury Park’s Oysterfest, a three-day culinary event you don’t want to miss.

Sea Isle City Food Truck Fest
Annual Sea Isle City Food Truck Festival returns for its Fourth Year in a row on Sept. 7, and will be running until Sept 9. Hours are 4 to 9 pm on Sept. 7, Noon to 9 pm on Sept. 8. And noon to 5 pm on Sept. 9. This exciting collection of food trucks is sure to fill your family’s’ tummies with plenty of delicious food, so make sure to stop by.

Jersey City Craft Distillery Fest
Jersey City Craft Distillery Fest features over 100 styles of spirits. Meet the distillers, master blenders, and other experts who will be in attendance. This is your chance to taste craft-distilled spirits from moonshine to mezcal. High end rum, cognac, whiskey, vodka, gin, tequila and more with majestic views of the city skyline.

Annual Kites at the Pier Festival
Kite flyers from all areas of the eastern seaboard will fly their most incredible creations at our Annual Kites At The Pier on Sat. September 8, 2018. Other spectacular kite visuals will include an array of vertical wind feathers and ground displays showcasing a myriad of different types of kites, exemplifying wonderful fun, beautiful visuals and an educational experience second to none!

4th Annual NJ Taco Festival
Who said only Tuesday is for Tacos? For one whole September Saturday, the NJ Taco Festival is going down at the Sussex County Fairgrounds. Bring your friends, your family and — most importantly — your appetite for a full day of early fall weather, more than 50 vendors selling delicious tacos, craft beer, margaritas and plenty of live music, Lucha wrestling and so much more.

Berkeley Township Community Pride Day
This annual family event featureslive entertainment, fireworks, games, prizes and fun for the entire family. The day begins @ 10am with rides and inflatable’s for the kids. The late afternoon will begin with musical entertainment at 5:30pm with the Symphonics, who perform a variety of music from the 1940’s thru today, followed by Eaglemania known for their uncanny ability to sound like the Eagles note by note. After the show, there will have a fabulous fireworks display.

Duffield’s Food Truck/Apple Festival
The Second Annual Food Truck/Apple Festival is coming exclusively to Duffield’s farm, and it will be a great family event for all who attend. The event will include: food trucks, hayrides, and plenty of apple related desserts.

In 2018, The Atlantic City Seafood Festival is returning to its home on Bader Field where the acres of uninhabited, water front land will once again be transformed into a seafood lover’s dream! With the famous Atlantic City skyline as its backdrop, The Atlantic City Seafood Festival will feature over 40 different local and regional seafood restaurants and vendors who will be serving up their favorite seafaring dishes.
