My February in New Jersey
The shortest month of the year has come and gone! And although it was short, and although it was Winter, there was still plenty of things to do in New Jersey! (Yeah, ya heard that right!) February 1st – First day of the month? New diner visit! I stopped by the East Hanover Diner in East Hanover, NJ. For more about my trip to this diner, read my review HERE
Afterwards we stopped by downtown Madison, one of my favorite little downtown areas!
And if that wasn’t enough…I celebrated the first day of the month the best way possible…by attending a NJ Devils game! And they WON! Yasssss
February 3rd – I started the day at Tito’s Burritos & Wings, at their new location in Boonton, NJ. I had never been there before, so we sampled all their food. Pretty much. Because I was there for a press event, I also participated in a guacamole competition. Which I came in second place. So yay!
Later on I joined my friends at the New Monmouth Diner…
and because I will still full of chips, wings, and guacamole, I ended up getting dessert, a cannoli cake, for dinner. I have no regrets.
February 5th – I went on a short vacation to Florida. Here is my view from my very, very early flight…
February 11th – My husband I celebrated Valentine’s Day early with a trip to LBI. What is there to do in LBI during the Winter? Well, not too much…but at least Ship Bottom Brewery was open! To read more about our visit, click HERE
We also grabbed dinner at the Plantation, which was participating in LBI’s Chocolate Week! To read more about that, click HERE
February 14th – Literally the only thing I ever want for Valentine’s Day…
February 15th – New diner alert! This time I visited the Randolph Diner. Check out my review HERE
February 17th – I enjoyed a belated GALentine’s Day with my gals at Koy Turkish Grill, a Turkish restaurant with locations in East Brunswick and Marlboro, NJ. It was DELICIOUS!
And I guess the snow wasn’t done with us after all!
February 18th – The NJIB store officially opened!! Mugs, glasses, magnets, and more! (Shameless self promotion…)
February 23rd – Although I took a sick day, I was very excited that my new pins came in! Woo hoo! (Available at the NJIB store)
February 24th – It was my husband’s birthday! So we started the day at the best place to start a day, a NJ diner! We stopped by the Liberty Park Diner and Cafe located in Jersey City. To read more about that trip, click HERE
We also stopped by the Liberty Science Center (because adults can go too!) for the Star Trek Star Fleet Academy Experience. It was SO much fun. For more about that exhibit, click HERE (It’s open until May 28th).
