The Broadway Diner in Bayonne: Review

Located on Broadway in Bayonne is the Broadway Diner. This 24 Hour diner features affordable homemade meals and a full bar for your convenience.

I had previously reviewed their Summit location, but since the one in Bayonne has a slightly different menu I decided to check it out. They also have an additional location at 226 Broadway which is a bistro as well, but it’s not open 24 hours.

The Broadway Diner likes to brag that they have the best pancakes in the WORLD. Their pancakes range from traditional to unique including delicacies like French Apple pancakes, Banana Pecan, and Candy Bar Pancakes to name a few. I had their blueberry pancakes and their cinnamon swirl pancakes when I was in Summit, so I decided to check out something different for breakfast on this trip.

Their breakfast menu has fresh squeezed juice, fresh fruit, omelettes, breakfast sandwiches, waffles, French toast, etc. Their weekday breakfast specials are extremely affordable and come with bottomless coffee. I decided start my meal with French Vanilla Lacas Coffee…it was incredible!

In addition to bottomless coffee, I felt like I ordered bottomless oatmeal. The diner features a healthy breakfast menu with freshly made juice, smoothies, and oatmeal. I decided to get oatmeal with fruit and was surprised it came in such a large bowl.

In the end it looked like I hadn’t finished it…it was so much food!

My friend also got a pretty big meal, a lox and onion omelette which came with hash browns and a side of toast. Another big meal from the Broadway Diner!

In addition to their regular menu, the diner offers an All You Can Eat Italian Buffet every Sunday between 3pm and 9pm. The buffet features authentic homemade Italian delicacies as well as a gourmet deli which features Fresh gourmet Italian sandwiches.

I loved my experience to the Broadway Diner in Bayonne and would definitely recommend it. I’d probably get the pancakes next time…
