The Broadway Diner in Summit: Review

When a diner boasts they have the best pancakes in the World (not in NJ, the WORLD), you know you have to check it out for yourself. That is why I visited the Broadway Diner in Summit, New Jersey.

First impressions of the diner was thinking of how cute it was! There’s lots of fun signage on the walls, neon lights, and one of the most adorable diner counters I’ve ever seen.

Although my mind was set on getting pancakes, I had to check out the rest of the menu anyway. They have your traditional diner fare plus some special items you won’t find at your typical diner. They make their own soup, have a creative list of burgers and hot dogs, and had a few options for Lobster in their menu items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

They also have a full bar, a coffee station, and smoothies as well.

We opted to start with an appetizer since we were really hungry. I know mozzarella sticks don’t typically go with breakfast, but we were there for dinner so I feel anything goes. (They were really good too)

My husband and I decided to share two different types of pancakes. I got the Blueberry Pancakes, since you can never go wrong with blueberry pancakes.

He got the Cinnamon Swirl Pancakes:

Both pancakes were fantastic (although I preferred mine), and actually paired really well together too.

Overall I was very impressed with the Broadway Diner, and the best part is that they’re open 24 hours! I look forward to visiting their Bayonne location as well.
