The Andover Diner: Review

Located on Main St in Andover, NJ stands the one and only Andover Diner! The diner is an authentically Greek diner that is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

I was immediately drawn in by it’s red and chrome exterior giving it a very retro vibe.

The interior was just as retro! I’m obsessed with the black and white checkerboard floors. So good and so needed! I had about three cups that morning.

Because I saw they had NJ’s own Lacas coffee I started this diner experience with coffee and cream.

I also got to stare at this very cool mural that is located at the diner. We were seated right in front of it.

The menu at the Andover Diner has all your diner favorites at a very affordable price. One of the things that amused me about their diner is that they are the only diner I’ve seen so far that lists Taylor Ham for some items and Pork Roll for others. Very interesting…

We arrived at the diner for breakfast, and although I was aiming for something healthy I couldn’t resist their banana nutella pancakes. Nutella lovers…this is a must! Not only was it on the outside, it was on the inside. Oh…and I got a side of whipped cream. So I definitely didn’t get the healthiest item on the menu, but I was happy.

My husband went the more traditional breakfast route, getting eggs, bacon, homefries, and toast. Doesn’t that bacon look crispy?

So far there hasn’t been a diner in Sussex County that hasn’t charmed me! The Andover Diner, and the town of Andover, should definitely be on your NJ hit list!
