Rise ‘N’ Shine Diner in Eatontown: Review
Although it is *technically* a luncheonette, the Rise N Shine Diner is a hidden gem that I found for breakfast on a Sunday morning.
Opened in 1987, the Rise N Shine Diner is a family owned and operated restaurant located in the heart of Eatontown, NJ on Route 35. They are open daily for breakfast and lunch. The diner is a quiet spot located in a little strip mall that has parking in the back.
Their menu is simple and affordable…two of my favorite things! Breakfasts consists of hearty omelettes, French toast, breakfast sandwiches, and their famous pancakes. They also have amazing deals like The “Rise ‘N’ Shine Bargain Breakfast” (2 Eggs, Home Fries, Toast and Coffee for $4.95), and the “Jackpot” (2 Eggs, 2 Pancakes with Bacon, Ham, Sausage or Pork Roll for $5.95).
For lunch you can enjoy homemade soups, burgers, salads, and sandwiches. They have nothing on their lunch menu that’s over $8.
My husband got the Jackpot with bacon…I mean how can you resist that deal! We were pleased when the pancake arrived with a smiley face, something the diner is known for!
I started my meal with their delicious coffee…
And for breakfast I enjoyed blueberry pancakes. Quite possibly the best pancakes I’ve ever had, the Rise N Shine Diner makes their light and fluffy pancakes with lots of delicious blueberries. I could barely finish it (but I did anyway).
Overall I loved my experience at this friendly diner/luncheonette and enjoyed one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. I highly recommend it!
