Creativity, Community, & Collaboration: Rahway’s Annual ArtsFest Returns September 19
Mayor Raymond A. Giacobbe, the Rahway City Council, and the Special Improvement District invite residents and visitors to experience the creativity, energy, and artistic spirit of Downtown Rahway at the 5th Annual Rahway ArtsFest on Saturday, September 19, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. along Irving Street.
Now in its fifth year, ArtsFest has become one of Rahway’s signature community events, bringing together artists, performers, local businesses, and families for an afternoon celebrating the arts in all its forms. With more than 60 artists, a live performance area, interactive experiences, culinary offerings, and activities for all ages, ArtsFest offers something for everyone!

Visitors can browse an expansive artist marketplace featuring original artwork, handcrafted goods, wearable art, and unique gifts while discovering emerging artists from across the region. Throughout the festival, attendees can enjoy live performances, interactive art experiences, free art activities, face painting, and culinary creations from local restaurants showcasing Rahway’s vibrant food scene. Whether you’re shopping for one-of-a-kind pieces, creating your own art, or enjoying live entertainment, ArtsFest celebrates the creativity, collaboration, and community that continue to make Rahway a destination for arts and culture.
The live performance schedule includes:
2:30–3:10 p.m. – Ryan Silva
3:20–4:00 p.m. – Lydia Crown
4:10–4:50 p.m. – Danielle Escobar
5:00–5:40 p.m. – Milan
Admission is free. Complimentary parking is available at Hamilton Stage, the Broad Street Lot, The Gallery Space, and municipal lots. Standard parking rates apply at the Rahway Parking Garage.
