NJIB’s 4 Year Anniversary?! Where has the time gone?!
Four years ago today I started a blog that I didn’t think anyone would read or see. It’s really crazy all the awesome things that has happened for New Jersey Isn’t Boring once I believed I could make it my own business. This is all thanks to YOU and your support. So THANK YOU!
The past four years have been very good to me. I have been on lots of New Jersey adventures, been invited to lots of great events, reviewed lots of restaurants, breweries, and vineyards and made friends along the way. My friends and family have been with me from the beginning. I love being able to take them with me on adventures and showing them new things.
This past year has definitely been my busiest so far. Like crossing things off on my bucket list like attending a beer festival on the USS Battleship NJ which I had never been on before. To read more about that, click HERE
I started doing designing and selling NJIB merch and got to participate in amazing events to sell them! Those events include Marketspace Vendor Events, 3 year Anniversary Forgotten Boardwalk, Two different Maker’s Markets at the William Center, Marketplace JC, Asbury Park Bazaar, and my first ever event at South Jersey Made.
This coming year I’ll be vending for the first time at the Trenton Punk Rock Flea Market as well as Made in Monmouth. You can get details on events where I’ll be HERE. Oh, and I opened a New Jersey Isn’t Boring Store so you can buy fun things all year round. Yay!
In January I got to teach classes at InstaYUM which was an AMAZING experience. I hope to do more things like that this year.
In May I got to attend the NJ Meet Up in Atlantic City, where I also got to display my own photography at the Arts Garage.
At the event I got to meet other NJ photographers, whose Instagram handles I recognized, and hang out with the fellow NJ bloggers and Instagram Hubs like the Moon Beast, Jersey Collective, NJ Spots, and South Jersey Adventures. So much fun!
And I hit my 200th diner! Oh, and I ate a ridiculous amount of pizza.
I encourage anyone who has an idea to go out and make a thing! It’s not work if you enjoy it!
I look forward to all the fun things year 4 has to bring! Thank you so much for your support!! <3
