NJIB’s Guide to New Jersey Vineyards and Wineries
Happy New Jersey Wine Month! New Jersey is home to a growing number of wineries and vineyards, with over 50 establishments spread across the state. The Garden State’s favorable climate and diverse soil types have enabled winemakers to produce a wide range of grape varieties, from classic European varietals to American hybrids and native species.
The state’s wineries are concentrated in four main regions: Cape May Peninsula AVA, Outer Coastal Plain AVA, Warren Hills AVA, and Central Valley Delaware AVA. Each region has its unique characteristics and produces distinctive wines. These regions have been designated by the best resource for New Jersey Wines, the Garden State Wine Growers Association.
