DerpyCon – Nov 18th – 20th
DerpyCon is a small, fun convention of sci-fi, fantasy, anime, gaming, and beyond… DerpyCon is held at the Hyatt Regency Morristown in Morristown, NJ. The weekend event will have panels, LARPs, concerts, video gaming, cosplay, vendors, dances, table-top gaming, AMVs, and more!

Philcon – Nov 18 -20th
79th anniversary of the world’s first and longest-running conference on science fiction, fantasy, and horror! Philcon 2016 will take place on November 18-20, 2016. Started in 1936, Philcon features cutting-edge programming about literature, art, television, film, anime, comics, science, gaming, costuming and cosplay, music, and other topics of interest to fans of sci-fi, fantasy, and horror. We will also have many other attractions, such as our awesome Art Show and Auction; a Vendors’ Room full of unique merchandise; a full slate of Children’s/Family programming; our Writer’s Workshop (featuring professional authors and editors); Concerts; the Time Traveler’s Masquerade Ball, Masquerade/Costume Competition, and more!

Geek Flea 12 – Nov 19th
Saturday, November 19 in Kearny, New Jersey…It’s Geek Flea 12! Munch on delicious snacks while you browse two floors with over 50 tables of toys and collectibles, knickknacks, videogames, crafts, art and more! Grab tickets for raffles and win the dorkiest things you can imagine! Get ready for the holiday season with the coolest geeks in North Jersey. Entry is FREE for all, 10am to 5pm. Featuring live DJs spinning rocking tunes all day! 663 Kearny Avenue – Use the Laurel Avenue side entrance!

Handmade in America Professional Craft Show – Nov 19th
High quality crafters and artists by invitation only; also local non-profit groups are represented, including Quilts of Valor, local Animal Rescue group, and others. Crafts include hand woven items with demonstrations, quilts, jewelry, pottery, baskets, turned wood, glass, and much more. Free Kids Can Craft area. Free Admission, but donations are gratefully accepted. 50/50 Raffle (do not need to be present for drawing), Chinese Auction including items donated by some of our crafters (do not need to be present for drawings). Music, food, fun, and it’s all indoors. A jolly good time for all, plus it is just before the holiday rush. This is the Saturday before Thanksgiving. We have high marks from last year’s show and expect this one to be even better. Don’t miss it! Benefits local students through scholarships awarded by the Greater Tuckahoe Area Merchants’ Association, Inc.

7th Annual Winter Festival and Craft Show – Nov 19th
Held indoors, the festival features vendors offering everything from knitted items to soaps to jewelry to baked goods to fine crafted woods and other unique items and foods for snacking. Proceeds benefit the Voorhees High School Music Association, which supports the school’s talented teen musicians and vocalists by providing instruments, enrichment opportunities and scholarships for Voorhees students.

Stomp the Grapes 5k Run/Walk Turkey Trot Edition – Nov 19th

NJ Comic Expo – Nov 19 & 20th
New Jersey Comic Expo is an annual event held at the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center each fall. It’s a celebration of comic books and pop culture that showcases the exceptional works of talented writers, artists, illustrators and creators of all types of pop culture. At New Jersey Comic Expo you can find exhibitors promoting and selling all types of related products, as well as entertaining and educational programs, guest signings and meet & greet sessions with celebrities.
