NJ Diner Review #286: The Nevada Diner in Bloomfield, NJ
Located on Broad St in Bloomfield, NJ, the Nevada Diner is a family owned and operated NJ Diner that has served the community for over 30 years. They take pride in their high quality service, exceptional food, and family friendly environment.
I really enjoyed the theme of Nevada/Las Vegas! They really leaned into it with art work, murals and more.
Things that stood out to me on their menu included:
– Cafe bar with lots of fun coffee beverages like Nutella Wafer Cupcake Cappuccino
– Flatbread Breakfast Pizza
– Oven Fresh Bread
– “Insane” Milkshakes like their Oreo Cookie Cake (Cookies and cream milkshake with decorated chocolate frosted rim and topped with a sliced oreo cookie cake, drizzled with chocolate sauce, oreo cookies and whipped cream)
– Acai Bowls
– MY B.F.F. Toast (Bananas Foster French Toast with a homemade rum sauce)
– A Juice Bar with House Pressed Juice
– A full list of fun fries including their Granny’s Smith Sweet Potato Fries and Peanut Butter Cup Fries
– Grown Up Mac and Cheese
– Lots of creative sandwiches, burgers, paninis, wraps and salads
– Etc
I could go on and on…It’s a big menu.
Of course you can’t forget their amazing bakery known for their cheesecake which comes in a variety of flavors like red velvet, cannoli, and baklava.
After much consideration I got a shrimp and avocado quesadilla. A quesadilla stuffed with two of my favorite things? Yes, please!
It was a very filling quesadilla which came with a side of sour cream and a fajita style veggies (really good!)
Definitely a diner with a quality menu and quality food! I really enjoyed my experience at the Nevada Diner.
