My April in New Jersey

April sure was busy! I had a scheduled vacation in the middle of the month, so I made it up for it by keeping super busy throughout the rest of the month. Here are just  a few of the things I did in April…

April 1st – Started the first day of April (and April Fool’s Day) at the “Brew and View” for a triple movie screening at the Strand Theater in Lakewood. This was a really fun event! I got to watch three Matt Stone/Trey Parker Movies, and we got to drink during the movie too. Lots of cool things are happening at the Strand. Definitely check them out!

Beforehand I got to visit the Park Nine Diner in Freehold (a diner I’ve previously reviewed) for some Matzoh Ball Soup. Nothing better for a rainy day! Their menu changed a lot since the last time I went there too. Very delicious meal overall.

I’m in my happy place. I’m at a diner and I’m having matzoh ball soup. #njisntboring #njdiners #freeholdnj #parkninediner

April 4th – Although it’s not in New Jersey, I traveled across the border to see the Kelly and Michael show. (Kelly Ripa is a proud Jersey girl, so it counts)

After I got home I went to the Bridgeway Diner in Old Bridge for lunch, for my second matzoh ball soup in 5 days.

And for dinner I visited Lox, Stock, and Deli, a Jewish deli in Milltown, which has amazing food and giant portions. People seemed to enjoyed our bowl of pickles.

How you know you’re at a good Jewish deli. #njisntboring #njeats #milltownnj
