Marvis Diner in Wildwood: Review

Open seasonally in Wildwood, the Marvis Diner has been deemed the best diner in town. Of course I had to find out myself if they lived up to their reputation. A beach by the diner that allowed my dog to dine? Yes please!

The Marvis Diner is a 3rd generation family owned and operated business. They are committed to keeping their menu full of the finest ingredients from NJ tomatoes to extra virgin olive oil, local veggies, and meats.

Some things that stood out to me on their menu included:
– specialty cold brew coffee which also comes as salted caramel + cold brewed iced tea
– Sriracha Benedict
– “Famous Jimmy’s” Creamed Chipped Beef
– Breakfast Burritos
– Crushed brownie pancakes
– Volcano Shrimp
– The Ring Burger (stacked high with onion rings)
– “Grilled Cheese Madness”
– Lots of seafood
– YIAOURTLOU (2 Kebabs Open Face on a Lay of Pita Bread, with Our Signature Feta Spread, Tomato Relish and French Fries)
– Lava Cake

They have also been voted one of the best pork roll sandwiches in the state.

Since it was one of the hottest days ever, I couldn’t stomach anything that wasn’t cold. I started with Cold Brew Coffee (made with Lacas coffee) and flavored with caramel pecan. It came in a large mason jar…and it was delicious down to the last sip.

For my meal I got an acai bowl, which is something I’ve definitely never had at a diner before. Topped with berries and granola, the bowl kept me nice and cool.

Sticking with cold options, my husband ordered a vanilla milkshake.

If you’re staying by the shore I highly recommend the Marvis Diner for a true NJ Diner experience. With seating outside, a retro vibe, and plenty of options on their menu it definitely stands out.
